go good. I can never decide, so I get one of everything. Plus, you can't go wrong if Salvi goes there. Cheap and delicious.

Authentic Venezuelan food. Tremendous taste. We will definitely be back again when in the area. It was just a nice, real Venezuelan food experience.

My children and I have frequented this establishment quite often over the past couple of years, and we love the food. It is delicious! Today though they probably lost a loyal customer. We went to the restaurant for a special occasion, and when we walked...in we were greeted with you can come in and order something to go, but you can't sit down and eat. Of course, we were disappointed and were discussing whether we wanted to take that option or go sit down somewhere else. My son asked if he could use the bathroom, and we were told it was only for paying customers. What?! The reason we came to the establishment in the first place was to be a paying customer! We finally decided to place our order to go, and after our total was provided my daughter asked for a few of the sauces. Believe it or not he went in and added an additional charge for the three tiny cups of sauce. Now I'm really heated, if we were eating inside we wouldn't pay for the sauce, none of us got the salad that normally goes with the order and when we finally added the sauce it was so watered down it didn't even taste like it should. Needless to say I am not a happy camper and will not go back anytime soon due to the service levels. There are other Venezuelan establishments and we'll chose differently next time.More

My family has been influenced greatly by South American Culture and so to find a fairly authentic establishment in KC brought back so many memories. The food was good, and the atmosphere friendly for all walks of life. I would recommend this place to everyone!

The place was very clean and the environment was excellent. The staff was friendly and will take care of you. I order the Beefsteak Encebollado and it was amazing. It came with white rice and pinto beans. On top three strips of plantains. The wife...order Empanadas de Pollo and some Tostones on the side and everything was great. For dessert I had a Pastelillo de Guava y Queso. Everything was delicious. The only reason they get four stars is because what we wanted from the menu was not available and it was the main reason we visit the place. I’ll recommend this place to all Puerto Ricin’s and Venezuelan’s that are around the Kansas City area.More

Empanada Madness is a delightful place to try Venezuelan food. The place, though small is nicely decorated, with beautiful large pictures of their menu offerings on one side of the wall. My visit was during weekday lunch time which turned out to be good timing...since they have great lunch specials. Glancing at the other tables in the small restaurant, the most popular order appeared to be the ‘Choose THREE’ lunch plate. I had the same combo order - with one Arepa, one Empanada and the Fried yucca. The plate comes with a huge serving of beans and rice; I would say that the beans and rice itself could serve as one decent lunch. Three choices of sauces of varying ‘heat’ are served with the meal. All the three items in the order were excellent, with the fried yucca being the most delicious. Certainly repeat visits are required to check out the other items on the menu. Prices are very reasonable, and the service is quick considering the each order is freshly prepared. Be ready to look for parking, since the place is adjacent other popular restaurants. In summary, Empanada Madness is an awesome place for Venezuelan food.More

My husband and I love this place! Everything here is cooked to order, top quality products, and tastes delicious!! I like the arepas much more than the empanadas. They are a bit softer with more filling. The garlic sauce —- I could just drink it....Delicious all the way around! Definitely give it a try. The one of state line and 135th is a little better imo.More

Loved it! We ordered much more than we should have but literally everything we tried was excellent. Our family is half Latin and the food stacked up. Great service too! One server but she was on it! We didn’t wait for anything. Will definitely be...back next time in KC! The only thing that could have been better would have been a liquor license to have a beer with the meal:)More
