During a recent visit to Kansas City, we ordered quite a smorgasbord from China Dragon. Pleasant greeting from staff.
Food was very good, the pepper steak was good, chicken skewers were tasty, love the crab ragoons. The wonton noodles were a weird texture though.
Quick service and good prices.

We were feeling lazy the other night and didn't want to cook so we tried a nearby Chinese Delivery place, China Dragon. The food arrived rather quickly. It had good flavors but unfortunately our chicken was soggy, no crisp whatsoever. I live just over a mile away, I was hoping it wouldn't get soggy that fast.

You might be very tempted to skip over The China Dragon. That would be a mistake. The China Dragon is located in a super bland strip mall on North Oak Trafficway. It's small with bland, pastel, vinyl booths and tables with those funky clear plastic floral panels on the top. You aren't going for the ambiance.
It has your typical visual menu, but if you are staying, you can be seated and get a written menu. We were there for lunch, so we looked at the lunch specials. Egg Drop soup, fried rice, crab rangoon and your choice of entree for $5.95.
The service was quick and friendly and lunch was so good! We stuck with tried and true favorites of Sweet and Sour Chicken and Beef with Broccoli. It was an easy exchange of egg drop soup for won ton soup for one of us and our requested drinks, including water, came out in their plastic bottles.
This place is not flashy, but if you want good, filling, reasonably priced Chinese food served with quick and friendly service in the Northland China Dragon is where you want to be.
