Webster House is known for three things: lovely decor and table settings, quiet atmosphere and upscale menu. It is next door to Kansas City's Kaufman Center for the Performing Arts and so attracts patrons for before or after performances. Finding available parking can be a...challenge when the Kaufman is offering two separate performances at the same time. Best to have a reservation.More

Don't forget Webster House has our own parking garage across the street. It's located on the east side of the building, and is complimentary with purchase at Webster House. We try to give you everything you need.. Come see us again soon!

I dined at Webster House for my first visit on a Saturday evening before a show at the Crown Center. I made a reservation for one in advance and asked for a table. Despite being disappointed as a solo diner that I wasn't allowed to...dine at a table and when I arrived had the choice of either eating at the bar or the bar around the kitchen prep area, I enjoyed my meal and had wonderful service from the bar staff. I ordered a small house salad which was probably the best I've ever had and an appetizer portion of risotto which was also delicious. The wine list by the glass and bottle was substantial and the environment of the restaurant was beautiful. I'll return and plan more time for my visit to that I can explore the beautiful shopping areas. I parked in the garage across the street and had much difficulty with the parking device to exit the garage accepting my validated ticket. The system is automated with no way to receive assistance. I'll probably park elsewhere next time.More

We came here for brunch/lunch prior to a KC Symphony Sunday matinee. The restaurant is located just a short distance from the Performing Arts Center. On the first floor, there are are a series of rooms with merchandise to purchase. The restaurant is on the...second floor with multiple rooms. Our food was very good. However, the food was very salty, particularily the salad accompanying my quiche. The service was professional and attentive. We probably could have parked here for the concert and with validation saved the $10 parking fee.More

The food was excellent at Webster House, but so was the charm of this restaurant and shop. The restaurant is housed in an old two-story school house (with bell tower still intact), and there are at least 4 separate dining rooms with incredible views of...the city skyline. Parking is convenient as you can park on the street or in the new garage right across from the entrance. This restaurant is excellent for romantic dining or enjoying a meal right before a performance at one of the many entertainment venues in Downtown KC. Highly recommended. The food and atmosphere are beautiful! Don't miss it.More

We ate here for the first time before the Kansas City Symphony Christmas Concert. We arrived a little early so sat at the bar and had a drink before dinner. Oh my. They were SO good! We were seated at our table in short order....We had an excellent server and everyone really enjoyed their choices. I had salmon and loved it. One of our group had the steak and the other 2 a vegetarian dish that they liked. We also shared salads and they were quite good as well. The ambiance of this place is half the fun. We definitely want to go back.More

I went to the Webster House in KC, and wow, the ribeye steak I had was great! Greg, our server, was outgoing and friendly, and the food was delicious. Upscale shopping is on the ground floor, and the building is a converted elementary school. Thumbs...up from this Texas guy.More

We enjoyed a delicious brunch prior to attending the ballet at the Kaufman ... it is a treat to go and enjoy their unique brunch menu ...a hash of sweet potato, chick peas and merquez or poutine made with new potatoes, a pork sauce, a...cheese mousse , pickled onions and pea tendrils. We shared a chocolate cherry scone that was amazing for dessert with jam and butter. Make a reservation early if you attend the Nutcracker ballet because the restaurant was standing room only and turning people away...may I suggest September for a seating you want. This a wonderful experience and it has become a tradition each December.More
