This restaurant is hard to find...behind another restaurant at the west end of 39th St. The building is really old and needs lots of work (hence the four star rating), but we overlooked this because the food is fantastic and service was great. The menu is extensive and made it hard for us to choose what to order. I decided... More

The experience was decent. We had a large party and there was a large party beside us and only one waiter. We asked for the manager and he gave us good service. Overall I enjoyed it. I had the Chicken LaMer. It was delish.

Love to eat here. We always try to go early because it gets busy most evenings. We also don't care for the live music, but if you like that they tend to have it a little later in the evening. I love the chicken-a-la-mar. Save room for dessert.

First impression is lasting, get pass the atmosphere and treat your tast buds to a delightful meal. The chicken a la mer is exceptionally good, also the gumbo a superb dish. If you like a little heat with your food give this eatery a try you won't be sorry.

My experience was great. good food, friendly staff, good atmosphere. We got seated right away, our drink order was taken, appetizers came out and next thing I knew or food was ready, good and hot.

My date loves new Orleans and it food so he felt at home. He enjoyed a pasta dish with chicken and I tried Rockefeller oysters on the half self (Yuck) too much spinach and spicy seasoning, the sweet potatoes fries were delicious and the rice and beans with Andouille sausages was ok. If you like spicy this the place for... More

We had our taste buds set for cajun for Mardi Gras. Jazz did not disappoint them. The hush puppies were bite sized and great. The cajun strips left a bit of heat behind that went with the flavor of the Big Easy. The jambalaya had nice chunks of andouille sausage and chicken. Again the heat was in the background, but...
