The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. We sampled pretty much the entire appetizer menu and loved everything.

He had a great meal here. The service was very good and and the food matched the service. Try the Chicken Shawarma Plater, you won't be disappointed.
My husband an I found this spot today for lunch. We ordered dolmas, the traditional gyros and falafel pita. Our meal was served with a side of lentil soup which was a fantastic blend of textures and spices. The falafel was amazing and some of...the best we’ve had. The gyro was so fresh and all the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be going back when we are in the area!More
We wandered in for a Sunday brunch. The service was prompt and the entrees were a delight. My favorite, the lentil soup, was a real treat. I topped off my meal with Turkish coffee. As expected, it was served hot, thick, and tasty. It was...a great way to launch a Sunday morning.More
It is a good restaurant.... large, friendly, versatile menu. Lentil soup is awesome. What we don't understand is how they can serve a pita bread, a stable of Mediterranean cuisine, that is so bad, like cardboard. Grocery store pita is better. If they can't make...it in house, at least buy it from a local supplier. We have had awesome pita bread in Kansas City, but we couldn't even eat it at Jerusalem Cafe.More
After so many years of consistently reliable service, quality service, excellent food and wonderfully welcoming atmosphere, my husband and I visited the new location- in hopes that all of this would not be lost in the move I regret to report this was the case....The new seating held up fine as we waited over 10 minutes to place our order and another 10 to even get a cup of tea. After 30 minutes our lamb kabobs arrived- under cooked. They offered to send them back. We once more waited, and waited. All the while thinking that the new flooring, and modern light fixtures will never replace the warmth and quality customer service that was sacrificed to obtain them. We never did get the food we ordered and finally left for home, but not before taking a walk 2 blocks east to fondly have one last look at the only location we will ever think of when the name "Jerusalem Cafe" is mentioned.More
Found the cafe after moving back to KC. Could kick myself for not trying it the first time I lived here. The food is true to its roots. The lamb is the best I have ever had and the seasonings on everything are perfection! Enjoy...the atmosphere and the quality that goes into the dishes they create.More
Went for lunch around 2, they had out door seating for us and our dogs. Went in for service and found they were a Buffet cafe. There was a great selection on Mediterranean foods that we like. The variety’s of foods we had was very...tasty. I was happy to see my favorite grape leaves and gyros.More
Food arrived on time in great condition and temperature. Gyros were wonderful. Salads were cool with tasty dressings.
We had lunch here on a recent visit to KC. A friend of my daughter had recommended it. My falafel sandwich was large, cheap, and very tasty. The rest of the family all enjoyed their food too. Service is very friendly and efficient. And a...cozy atmosphere with good music.More
