I would definitely categorize this place as “just okay”. I had no real complaints about the food and service, but it definitely didn’t knock my socks off either. We visit KC every so often from out of town, and I am glad we tried this...place but it was not intriguing enough to try againMore
The most impressive part of the restaurant was the ambiance, it had a nice feel.
The food was ok, the lamb was great but I found the burnt ends rather basic. Good selection of drinks. I would recommend.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We appreciate your feedback - It helps make our team better! We hope to see you back soon!
We were thrilled to eat here as we’d heard great things.
We ordered a variety of food - wings, shrimp, ribs, pork, and burnt ends.
It was all below average except the shrimp. All the food - except the shrimp - had obviously been cooked...hours before. I suspect the warming/heating units were simply turned on too high as everything was dry.
I’ll try it again because I heard so many good things, but the food couldn’t have been much worse on this experience.
Service was fabulous! Environment was very good as well.More

We came for a late lunch on our drive home.
We had reservations made during our drive and were seated promptly.
Food: I had the burnt ends. They weren't very burnt. Maybe 1 piece a tad over burnt, 2-3 pieces with some char on 1...side and the rest just cooked. Taste was good. But there was way too much fat. My first bite was 100% fat. Several more pieces were over 50% fat. Only a few pieces had about 20% fat and I saved them for last.
Everyone at our table thought the sides were excellent. I had the beans and the cheesy potato bake, cheesy corn bake and cornbread were also winners.
The service was good and friendly.
The restaurant was nice and more upscale than many others
The Covid-19 protocols were great, except for the entrance. It's way too blocked and people crowd up to wait to be seated. The host stand blocks passage to/from rest rooms and blocks the entrance.More
