Wonderful dinner downstairs with live jazz music. Food was plentiful and delicious. I had the KC Strip. My wife had a nightly special, bacon-wrapped tenderloin.

We came here to eat steak and listen to jazz. There is a dining room and then the jazz club. The trio was excellent, but I'm distressed by how little the diners pay attention. They took requests and chatted with us on a break. Now...More

I attended a business dinner in early October. They placed us upstairs at a private dining room near the Cigar room. The smoke was so thick that it made it difficult to enjoy the meal. The meal itself was good, but I couldn't wait to...More

Wow! Wow! Wow! Best steak I've EVER eaten in my life!!! Friends took us to this restaurant that they've gone to forever and played it cool with "we think you'll like it." I almost didn't review it because I want to be able to always...More

Great historical restaurant. Live jazz while you eat, beautiful bar upstairs. Peppercorn filet was awesome. Ribeye was tender, a bit bland. We are from Texas so use to more spice. Great service! Worth the stop!

One of the best places for food in the country. The chef created one edible masterpiece after another for our table. The staff and atmosphere were first class. We will be returning here to eat every time we're KC and you should do the same.

I don't eat Steak or Prime Rib so I can't say much about the food here...but eating a perfect Creme Brulee while listening to some hot, live Jazz, was SUBLIME.

Wonderful ambience, live piano. Ceaser salad was very good. Potato was cold inside, mussel appetizer was good. I can't believe they served the prime rib, twice. Sent it back as our requested medium rare was raw - literally. So fatty I couldn't get a full...More

The Majestic Restaurant carries on the Kansas City traditions of great food and great jazz. We serve brunch Saturday and Sunday, lunch Monday-Friday, and dinner seven nights a week. Featuring Kansas City's best dry-aged beef, chops, and seafood and located in the historic Fitzpatrick Saloon building at 10th and Broadway in downtown Kansas City, The Majestic Restaurant offers a true Kansas City dining experience like no other. Enjoy a great steak and fine wine in our main dining room alongside a grand bar dating back to 1910, or have dinner in our lower level jazz club, the site of an actual speakeasy during prohibition, all while listening to some of Kansas City's best jazz musicians seven nights a week. An extensive wine list, creative cocktails by nationally renowned bartender Shawn Moriarty, a list of over 100 whiskeys, and a sinful selection of delectable homemade desserts provide the perfect accompaniment to the meal and the music.
