We were shocked at the large portion sizes for such reasonable prices. We both enjoyed our meals and were happy to have enough to take home for another complete meal. I had a hummus bowl and it was a bit messy to eat, because the hummus is on the thinner side than some, but it was good. The pita bread was the best I have ever had - extra thick and chewy. The servers checked on us multiple times during our meal. The parking situation is always a little tricky in Brookside at lunchtime, so we will try the location in Prairie Village next time, but we will definitely be back.

Just incredible. Extremely flavorful. I can see how someone not used to really good service might be put off by the amount of attention given by the staff. We literally had someone checking on us at the minimum every five minutes. Be prepared for casual fare with fine dining service. Its a real breath of fresh air in these days of cell phone servers. Considering the atmosphere, service and quality of food it is a ridiculously good value.

The Meddys location in Brookside, Kansas City is a much welcome addition to the neighborhood's dining options. I have been several times already and the service is outstanding. Friendly staff and great atmosphere creates the perfect environment for the food. So much flavor and so many vegetarian options make this a great spot!

Can’t get enough of the hummus and fresh warm pita bread here! For my entree I got the big bowl with mixed rice/veggies and beef for the protein. To say it was delicious is an understatement! The portion size is very generous as well, plenty of leftovers. To top it all off, the service was incredible and we felt very well taken care of. If you are in the Brookside area, do yourself a favor and stop in, you won’t regret it!

Meddys is the best for a quick healthy meal! I love everything on the menu but my go tos are the beef big bowl or salmon plate. Also dont forget the hummus
