You HAVE to give this place a try! No frills, just great authentic Mexican street style tacos. They have a few other menu items also but the carne asada tacos are my favorite and their ice cream......yummmmmmmy:-)

We moved to KC about 6 years ago from Houston, where we had a habit of picking up breakfast tacos on the weekend. We found Dos de Oros through a tip from a friend about 4 years ago. This is the Taqueria, but there is also a Dos de Oros about a quarter mile away that is their full Mexican... More

The best Mexican food on the south side! Great value as well as flavor. The staff is always friendly! And let's not forget they make their own ice cream!

Simple place with really good tacos. The prices are reasonable. Many people take out. We stay and eat in the restaurant. Not fancy but very clean.

This restaurant is very close to us and they have a 99c Taco night every Tuesday - sounds tacky I know but it is actually very good value, especially with a group including kids. It is a very simple restaurant - you order at the counter and then move to the small dining area to find a table and they... More

This is our favorite Mexican place in Kansas City. The food is always good and so reasonably priced. The fajitas and carne Asada tacos are excellent. Our kids love the nachos and enchiladas. The guacamole and spinach dip are also really good.

This is our usual Sunday after church brunch. There are usually six in our party. The staff knows us well enough that coffee and juice comes automatically. What we like about this restaurant is that we do not have to wait for a table and if we choose we can linger but never need to wait for the staff.

The Taqueria is very small at the end of a small strip mall. Wasn't sure if I wanted to venture in because from the outside it appears a little shady. However, I had a coupon in hand and decided to take my chances--I could always walk out. Walking through those doors was a decision well made. The Taqueria is very... More

We heard about Dos De Oros Taqueria and decided to try it for lunch today. It is basically a small “hole in the wall” Mexican restaurant on the corner of Blue Ridge Blvd and Holmes Road. On the east side of Holmes Road and about half a block north is Dos De Oros Mexican Restaurant, the full service restaurant owned... More

I have never been to this restaurant before and I have to say that I probably won't go back. I really wasn't impressed at all. You place your order at the cash register and your food is brought out to you. No chips on the table, but there is a bar with cups the size of a thimble that has... More
