This is not a typical review as we visited Johnny's a couple days ago for the US Soccer American Outlaws pregame party. It was a Sunday night and the place was jam-packed with soccer fans. But the establishment was very well-prepared for the event and staffed appropriately. Lots of huge TV's to catch sports action. My son and I both... More

Spent several hours here last Saturday night with a family reunion, and stayed to watch the Hawks on tv. It is a bit loud, but that was expected. Food was above average bar food, wings, pizza, sandwiches, burgers. All well presented. I had the Simmons wings - excellent twist on wings - really good. HUGE serving - could only eat... More

This place has some wonderful burgers and great food in general. Its a little loud and takes a little bit of time to get your food but worth the wait.

This was my first time at this place and it was decent but nothing spectacular. I had the breaded peppers, which really didn't hold up to their name. The breeding fell off immediately so basically I was eating a bell pepper slice. I had one of their burgers and it was top notch, perfectly cooked and seasoned, on a bun... More

We love Johnny's in Lawrence, even better in Downtown KC. Service is quick, food is good and a very diverse sports crowd. Good times.

Last evening, after my wife and I watched our grandson play basket ball at the Sprint Center we decided to go right across the street and get a drink and a bite to eat. We walked in Johnny's and there were two young ladies who I guess were receptionist, sitting at the front watching sports and told us to sit... More

Ate here with friends on a Sunday evening. Restaurant about two thirds full. Volume of the TV station was WAY too loud. We couldn't even talk to the person sitting next to us without yelling. The food was OK, but nothing special. Ate the insides of my chicken sandwich and had to forego the less than desirable bread.

We went here because of the Brat Burger. I was expecting more but it was very good and flavorful. They have plenty of cold beer, and lot of things around this place. It's in the center of the power and ligh district, right across the street from the Sprint Center. We had good service considering there was like 35 of... More
