We went there last week. Apparently they weren't expecting that many people as it was a work day at 7 pm. Inside the restaurant there were 3 tables with customers ( 3-4 people each table) and on the terrace the 4 tables were occupied (all...couples) . No many people either. They gave us a table in less than 15 minutes. To order, you have to use the QR code on your phone, but if you are more than one person, each one has to use their phone to order and pay or you are passing the phone from one to the other. You have to pay and tip before food / drink is served. But our experience is that the program did not work. We put the credit card 4 times and it did not take the payment. The guy who was in charge of the tables at the entrance, was also in charge of cleaning and preparing the tables and was very busy. There were barely two other people. We called the manager to see what happened with the orders and the QR code and she told us that the system had crashed. We asked him for our order, he took it on regular paper and he only brought us one of the orders. The other, more than 45 minutes passed and nothing or nobody came to attend to us. I got up to look for the manager and she told me that there had been a mistake in the kitchen and that now they would come to take care of me. She came to the table minutes later to tell me that my dinner order had been removed from the final bill so that I would not pay it. but I hadn't eaten anything! She left. Again, I told him I wanted to have dinner. What if he was going to bring me the order even if it was the last or the food had run out. She somewhat rude, turned around and in 15 minutes brought me some skewers of meat (enough raw) and complimented me saying that it had been a large order instead of regular for having waited so long (more than an hour) for two skewers that finally I could NOT eat because they were completely raw. My companion's sushi was not spectacular either. Super regular. Nothing delicious. It is not one of the best Sushi places.More

Worst experience ever. When I go to a restaurant, I just want the server to get me a drink while I look over the menu. But due to this “new” system we had to scan a QR code and order the drink ourselves. It wasn’t...easy so we spent some time just trying to get a drink ordered. And we had to pay and tip for the drink order before we could order. Plus, you can’t just order a cosmopolitan as an example. You need to order vodka, add cranberry, add triple sec, add lime juice, etc.... Basically, you better know how to make the drink you order. Ok, now I can finally look over the food menu. I add all to to cart but I have to add my credit again and tip again. Ok, now I want another drink while I am eating. I need to stop eating and get back on my phone and do the whole process again. And isn’t a tip supposed to be based on service? How can I possibly know what to tip when I haven’t received service yet? Seriously, who thought this was a good good idea? I eat out at expensive restaurants because I want someone to wait on me. The manager came to talk to us (I guess because the server said something) and did nothing but try to defend this new system. She said it was due to”COVID” and this way the server doesn’t touch a bunch of credit cards. Really?! Chick Fil A has it better figured out than you! They have the guest swipe the credit card on their phone. I am really sick of “COVID” being an excuse for bad service . I am in support of masks and being careful but against bad service. FYI...the server and bartender were great and hated this new system themselves. I will never go back.More

Sushi is amazing. I’ve had bad sushi, and good sushi. This sushi is great! The staff was amazing, and the prices were......well......... sushi prices. Located in the coolest district in KC, this place is the bomb! I will be back!

Because of Covid we chose to eat outside on their wonderful patio. Beautiful area and not too hot. To limit contact you scan a QR code for the menu and pay that way as well. The food and drinks were brought out in a timely...fashion. We ordered the chicken fried rice and 3 different sushi rolls along with drinks. The food was very good and staff was attentive.More

Sushi was good. The Mango roll was very good and so were the white tuna and yellow tail. Service was pretty quick.

Laid back place with TVs. Food was excellent and surprisingly quick. My daughter and I had a great meal. Be careful not to order too much right off the bat. The portions are significant.

Ate dinner here and had several specialty rolls as well as sashimi and nigiri. Everything was fine but nothing stood out. A bit disappointing. Service was fast though.

My husband and I went to Drunken Fish Friday for their HH. We decided to sit at the bar..first mistake. Bartender (pretty sure his name was Zach P) was rude and made it seem like we were an inconvenience...yet we were the only 2 seated...at the bar at that time. Drinks were ok. We ordered an app and then a couple rolls off the HH menu. He brought out my husband's order and I never got mine. I finally had to ask him...he never apologized or offered to do anything. He then realized that he gave my order to a group who had came in and also sat at the bar. The big problem here...we overheard one of the guests in that party ask about gluten free options. After he realized his mistake...and then informed them that roll was definitely not GF.....he didn't apologize to them either...just said "oh well...hopefully it's not a lot of gluten." So rude! The only highlight was another Bartender, I assume he was the night/closing bartender, arrived. He was MUCH more friendly and personable. Highly disappointed in our visit to Drunken Fish. Much better places in KC for sushi that will actually welcome you and you can receive good service.More

Our first visit. We had a pleasant time. Not a sushi expert. The waiter was helpful and friendly. The food was very good and we enjoyed our time. We went during a non-peak time so was very quiet (almost too quiet). The lobster spring roll...appetizers were delicious. They were deep fried which surprised us.More

I don't remember seeing this on the menu, but I wasn't looking for it. Best to contact the restaurant directly.
