Here last Saturday A.M. for breakfast. As always, a broad range of folks, from young to old, and inner KC to the suburbs. All come for the fine food offerings, and excellent Parisi brand coffee. Try it, and enjoy.

This cafe is reminiscent of a '50s diner. Fun decor. The food is great and there are daily changes in addition to the standard fare. I had the chicken salad on a croissant and my husband had the reuben pocket. Both were very good and the prices were not unreasonable. They also have yummy desserts.

Food was great. Lots of variety on the brunch menu and tons of coffee options. Delicious Mocha. Restaurant is really small. Had to wait to sit down after ordering. Food took FOREVER. Once we got seated and started eating experience was better. Ratings: Service: A- Food: A- Atmosphere: B Value: A

We arrived around 11:15 and there was plenty of room to sit... By 12:15 the place was packed. The staff was excellent! I must have ordered the wrong thing...quiche with tomatoes and chard... I could only eat the egg I could find and the crust., so I left hungry. Vegetables were tough and tomato skins made it impossible to chew.... More

Great to get away from the chain breakfast places. This restaurant is more of a neighborhood place where many locals frequent. Atmosphere is unique, food was good, and staff were friendly

Stopped here for breakfast as I got into town. Saw it here and thought it'd be worth it. Pretty close to some nice attractions in Kansas City too. Location was easy to find. Nice mellow atmosphere. Like a good coffee house. There were quite a few people, but it was still nice a mellow. I ordered the breakfast casserole and it... More

My wife and I went here for a Saturday breakfast. She had the baked French toast and I had the breakfast casserole. Both items were out of this world delicious. Their house coffee is great too. We loved the atmosphere with the old 50s and 60s breakfast tables. Service was very good.

We love YST. From the Americanos to the flatbreads, from the best muffins in town to the humongous cinnamon roll, to the offbeat, courteous and attentive servers -- this place delivers. A neighborhood joint, YST attracts Kansas Citians from all over the metro area. Weekends offer the extra yumminess of cheese grits and biscuits and gravy. Just pop in and... More

The breakfast flatbread is a must, but if you select anything else you shall be nearly equally pleased. Delicious homemade treats, vegan and vegetarian options. They're a breakfast/brunch/lunch kind of place so there's plenty to choose from off their hand-written marker board menu. I had a wonderful Chai tea latte but I'm quite sure they are incapable of serving anything... More

Great atmosphere and food! Had the biscuits and gravy and a latte. Cozy seating and friendly employees! This will definitely be a regular stop when we are in town!
