You might think smack bang in the centre of the American midwest is not the place to seek out seafood, but you would be wrong. The seafood at the Bristol is as good as any I have ever eaten in any coastal city, including on the Mediterranean. Apologies to the environment, but they must be flying it in fresh non-stop.... The food is amazing. Service is top notch! It's a tad pricey but typically for this type of food/restaurant. Good wine selection. Beautiful place.

Went here for dinner with my girlfriend. The entire experience was great! Loved the salmon carpaccio and shrimp cerviche appetizer. Our entrees were excellent with only the roasted brussel sprouts being a little on the dry side. Dessert was a piece of carrot cake and creme brulee. Will be going back when we are in the mood for seafood.

This visit was for an anniversary dinner. We had a reservation but had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time for a table. We had scallops (a little on the small side and not the most flavorful) and crab cakes (excellent). I highly recommend the carrots as a side. The key lime pie was average - could have been... More

We arrived a few minutes before our table was booked which allowed us to check in our coats (10 out of 10 for providing this service). There were eleven of us in our party, the waitress introduced herself and took our drink orders, some alcoholic some just water, all arrived together and were distributed to the correct guest. Not an... More

This is our favorite place to eat Sunday Brunch...food is amazing and the service is top notch too! We don't go often, because it is a bit pricey...but, it is totally worth it and such a treat for our entire family! It is a buffet, but it's certainly not your typical buffet. They have all your basic breakfast items; biscuits,... More

We had brunch at Bristol which is a buffet . There is a very good selection from seafood to an omelette station. There is also a carving station. An area with different breads. It was very good. It is a little pricey at about 30.00 per person but you could easily eat that in the ham, prime rib, and seafood.... More

We arrived at 10:45 am for our first visit to this Power and Light district location. Restaurant doesn't open until 11:00 am, but hostess seated us anyway. Our waiter, Steve, was attentive to the four of us. We shared the salmon flatbread appetizer. The menu description was more interesting than the dish was, but it was fine. Our mains included... Wonderful 70 degree evening in Kansas City on Nov. the seventh. Ate on outdoor patio, beautiful evening, lots of people out and about. We had a wonderful dinner. Decided to ride our new streetcar. Rode to Union Staion and then to River Market district. Would be great evening for tourists. The streetcar stopped at the corner by the Bristol, very... More

Bristol's is a really nice stop for happy hour. The bar area is very warm and inviting. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. We had oysters on the half shell, 3 different kinds. Depending on the type, price was $1-$2 per oyster. Drinks were tasty and presentation was well done. Maybe the only down side was it was very... More
