I can't remember the last time I said this about a restaurant. The only possible thing I can suggest is smaller wine glasses. The ones used were very large and awkward to manage. We shared the "Local Mushroom Risotto", a creamy, savory delight. My husband...More

Pierponts is a historic restaurant located in Union Station. Since we were staying in the area, we wanted to eat at this beautiful restaurant. Our first concern was that we hadn't packed nice clothes and felt we'd feel out of place but that couldn't be...More

A very nice venue in the Union Station terminal. Had a great selection of gins as well as a extensive wine list. If you are ordering a Martini do not miss the blue cheese stuffed olives. We had the small plate tasting menu and thoroughly...More

Definitely would highly recommend for a fun night with friends with a nice ambiance from the train station. The only small thing I can say is there is an echo upstairs, downstairs is better for private events. Excellent steak every time!

We were surprised by the quality of food and cocktails at this spot tucked away at Union Station. Delicious blue crab soup, must try the pimento cheese appetizer- not your grandma’s pimento cheese. Great spot for happy hour - will come back for dinner.

The architecture of the restaurant is beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the soup and starters were world-class delicious (Blue Crab Bisque, Braised Rabbit, and Yellowtail Sashimi), but both the main courses (Filet Mignon and Scallops) tasted of nothing but salt. Lots and...More

We ate at Pierpont’s for dinner on a Monday night. This restaurant is named after JP (hence, Pierpont) Morgan, the financier. Service is impeccable, so was the food! Try the Pimiento Cheese Fonduta—the smoked grapes are amazing! I had the special; filet with 2 seared...More

Pierponts is an excellent restaurant in the historic Union Station. The service is always very good. They have a great wine list and you can find some reasonably priced, although most are significantly overpriced. The food was excellent. I had a salad and a filet....More
