My wife & I enjoy eating out at Stogey's for a change of pace. Their location is easy to locate and has ample parking. My wife prefers the burger and fries and I usually order a bowl of chilly or a junkyard dog hotdog. The spaghetti red is very good also and the serving is large.

Best chilli and burgers in town. Today I'm having spaghetti red. This is one of the best places to get spaghetti red in the four states area. It's worth the money and the belt loosening you may have to do.

Stogey's is a must try for all-American food. Chili dogs, fries, burgers and frito pie make this a go to for comfort food. The atmosphere will take you back to several periods of Joplin history when life was a more simpler time. Service is fantastic and prices are reasonable.

We went there in a big group of kids and adults, and everybody enjoyed their food. They have some great dishes. Their burgers were awesome, their frito pies were a bit hit with the kids, and their spaghetti was delicious. Just be warned that their spaghetti is topped with chili and not a marinara sauce. This surprised us, but it... More

I was told about this place by a chef at the Garden Inn hotel in Joplin. Really great chili on spaghetti or by the bowl or on a hot dog.

Everything about Stogey's hints to a mediocre place to eat, but it isn't. This place is the kind of place I went to in my youth. Griddle cooked burgers and curly fries. One of my Joplin favorites.

This place has been around for a long time and has always been great. Hamburger like hamburgers should be, 1 or 2 patties, cheese, onions, pickles, and mustard or you can get the other stuff on them. Great chili, spaghetti red, coneys, Good food and not greasy. NO credit cards but they have an ATM

It is easy to forget about this place because it isn't on Rangeline Road with most of the other places to eat in Joplin. I have been there several times and always get a coney with cheese and onion. They also have burgers, spaghetti, etc., but I have never tried those.

Since the long time Fred and Red's has closed I have been looking for a really good Spaghetti Red. The chef at my hotel, Garden Inn, told me to try Stogey's. It was so good that I went back the next day for a chili dog. Consistent great taste. I like chili on my hot dogs that is not runny... More
