Five brothers and sisters visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening about 7:00 PM. This must have been shortly after the buffet quarantine was lifted, as the buffet line was open. We were promptly seating at a table for 8, in a room that was mostly empty. They had another dinning area, but maybe less room for my wheelchair there. I suspect maybe 20-30 patrons in that area. The waitress appeared promptly to take drink orders. We all chose water, so that was simple for her. I asked if I could order off the menu, and she said the buffet was a much better choice in terms of selection and quantity. So we all chose buffet, for a little less than $10 each. We then proceeded to the buffet and started exploring. There are three double sided steam tables, probably about 12 feet long each, and a desert and another small table. Typical buffet, one wants a little of everything, but the plate and stomach on holds so much. I managed to key in on the shrimp dishes and found about 6-7 different ones. Plus chicken and pork. You will not be disappointed in the selections or presentation of the dishes. The second trip thru the line was picking some new items and deserts. We all agreed that hunger was no longer an issue for us and vowed to do this one again.

Lots of Choices

We ordered tack-out on-line which was very easy to do. The order was ready soon after we ordered. The Crab Rangoon was delicious. Happy Family and the Hot & Sour soup were both good. The Chicken with Snow Peas was OK but quite bland and the Egg Rolls were not very good at all.

Nice Chinese Buffet

Not as good as it used to be!

This place used to be amazing. They used to have these things they called beef sticks, but they weren't on a stick. They were wrapped in a spring roll wrapper. They were on the far bar. However they took it off their buffet but you could still order from their menu. These were so good. the last time I went I ordered them. The wait staff was completely confused and when I finally got my order to go, they were way to greasy and burnt. The food on the buffet was cold and nasty. I paid way to much to not eat anything at all. This was my favorite part of visiting Jefferson City and my family's favorite place. We found a fried fly in one of our dishes. The wait staff are not as friendly as they used to be, and the variety of dishes on the buffet has slacked. I wish that I had the recipe for the beef sticks. That would be the only reason I would return. They were so good!

This used to be a good place to eat. Its not not clean!

We have been eating here for several years. In the last six months things have changed. If the restrooms are nasty then this brings to question what else is being neglected. The floors are disgusting, and it looks like no one looks at the restrooms but once a day, and that is a wiz bang job. The entrance door to the men's room has not been cleaned in a very very long time. The food is barely warm, and that really concerns me, with people picking out food, and hands sometimes touching the food because the tongs have been moved. The steam tables are not warm enough to keep the food hot. The servers just bring your drink and ONLT ONE NAKIN! Then they expect a 20% tip! I am sorry Dragon Kitchen until there is a drastic change we won't be back.

Complete lack of customer service

I have been going here for many years. I went last week and the girl at casheir was very rude. I placed my order to go and asked if I could sit and wait at one of the several empty tables.. she said "no tables are for dine in only" I am disabled and I waited for like 30 minutes and I was in so much pain. I asked again "may I sit.. I am disabled and am in pain" she replied no but that as soon as she got time she would get me a chair.. ten more minutes passed and she finaly brought me a chair then right after that my order came. I feel like as soon as this young lady ran my credit card and had my money she ceased to care about customer service.. like I said I hVe been a loyal customer for years.. I will not be back

Bad Experience

Left before I was seated because girl at register had a nasty attitude. I was the only one waiting to be seated and she looked at me and said in an angry voice "wait over there by the wall" I walked out. I been going there for probably over 30 years and have never been treated to that kind of attitude. It will be a long time before I go back if ever.

The food wasn't terrible, just really bland. The hot sour was not hot or sour. A couple of things were pretty good, but overall just OK. I don't need to go back.

Good Food Great Service

This restaurant was close to my hotel, so I gave it a try. The food was flavorful with a lot of choices. My waitress made my night. She was so cheerful and on point.

Wonderful Food, Decent Service!

This is our go-to restaurant in Jefferson City! Although I am not a local, I live very close to the capital city and find myself in this city a lot! This restaurant ALWAYS has really good, hot food with a lot of interesting varieties and combinations! The restaurant is relatively small, but I am always comfortable even during the busy days! The service is good, it is not the best, but they try their hardest and I can appreciate that! Sometimes, I feel like they are almost nervous to come up to us, but they are all quite nice once they get to know you and get to see your face! I will keep coming back, for sure!

It is a typical Chinese buffet place. That being said, the food was good. Seemed fresh but they were busy so the food turned over pretty quickly. I particularly liked the black pepper shrimp and beef w/broccoli; also the peel-and-eat shrimp was fresh and firm. Wife thought the coconut shrimp was tasty. All-in-all a pretty good experience. We will be back.

Quick Supper

My son likes this place so the last time we were in town he requested we stop here. I wasn't sure about it but ended up being pleasantly surprised. We both had the buffet and the food was really good. Service was good too. Probably not my first pick but would go back.

Place has a bunch of good reviews, and i dont get it. Ive been to about 15 oriental food buffets and a few restaurants and this is without question , by far, the worst one ive ever been to. We went because i thought it was another location of the one in Fulton and that one is good. Before the wife became diabetic we ate at the one in Fulton twice a month for years. This place is apparently unrelated. It is horrible. Lousy food, dried out old food, normally at a buffet i dont care for alot of the food choices but there are usually 4 or 5 things i really like so thats what i eat. I walked the line at this place 3 times and there was nothing. Dried out old food, mostly empty bins (it wasnt busy at all). Told the wife i'd be in the car and left. Guy at the door tried to charge me. I told him i wasnt paying, i didnt eat anything, because there was nothing worth eating and almost half the bins were basically empty. Wife was 2 mins behind me. She paid him $5 and said feel lucky youre getting this much, cuz this is garbage -- theres no food and what little there is shouldve been thrown away 2 hours ago. You wanna eat there -- go ahead. I wont -- ever again.
