Nice little gem around the corner from the main action in Sayulita...As others have mentioned you'll pay a little more, but it's worth it. Staff were laid back and genuine. After seeing my on my phone the waiter came over and gave me the internet pass code without me asking...

We ate here on our first evening in Sayulita, after a long flight and five hours time difference. We were greeted warmly on arrival. We ate tuna and vegetarian spring rolls followed by aubergine stuffed with goats cheese and beef tacos. We drank a pineapple and basil margarita and two glasses of French (Languedoc) red. The bill was 465pesos. The... More

Hands down the best restaurant in Sayulita. When you are tired of the "traditional" Mexican vacation food of tacos, ceviche, carne asada, house margaritas, etc. treat yourself to La Esperanza. Yes, you might pay a little more (10-20% at most) but what you get is unique and innovative dishes, super fresh and natural ingredients, and a presentation that shows they... More

Thank you Matt and Julie for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and grateful review. We love that you noticed how much we care about the qaulity of our food. It means so much to us to hear that our dinner specials have been a success. We are excited to continue to come up with new dishes and... More

Staff is friendly and knowledgable. I ordered a juice and it was pretty good! As mentioned in the title, prices are on the higher end.

Overpriced and not good. Stir fry and coconut shrimp were all too salty and oily with no depth. Super disappointing

We visited Sayulita several weeks ago, we had a great lunch, food was all tasty and well presented. Our big complaint was how slow it was to get the food. We understand that it is all made fresh which is wonderful, although we would have hated to have been in a rush. Maybe we should give them another chance as... More

We tried the tapa selection, for dinner, and they were great. The vegetables were also very fresh and cooked to perfection. The breakfast and lunch menus looked great but I will have to try those on our next visit.

During 8 days spent in Sayulita, we visited La Esperanza 3 times which tells you something! Everything about it, the laid-back atmosphere, the beautiful mural on the wall, the warmth of everyone who works there, the delicious, almost-too-beautiful-to-eat food, was delightful. We especially loved the quinoa salad and the raw, vegan chocolate mousse.

We've been in Sayulita for a week and decided to go out to our first brunch at La Esperanza. My friend read all about the excellent + healthy cuisine and we were all excited to trek across town to experience it. It did not disappoint. We all had the huevos rancheros with a custom mole/chile sauce. It was the BEST... More

The cool town of Sayulita does not offer much quality when it comes to food. La Esperanza is a delicious exception. Infused with local flavors, it entices the senses and offers a very healthy and tasty meal.
