We had breakfast here during our stay near Sayulita, and had read that this was a good place to visit. That was not our experience - in the week we spent along the Nayarit coast this probably was the most underwhelming experience. The food seemed...to be put together in haste, and the staff first forgot to put our order in the system, and then mixed it up with someone else's food. which meant we were waiting for over an hour. We were in vacation mode, so no big deal, but I wouldn't go back there and it didn't live up to a 4.5 star reputation for us. And since this is on the main square, you have to enjoy the beats from the surrounding bars and restaurants - it is pretty loud.More

We always stop here to get a frozen chocolate banana when we’re in Sayulita. There are tables to eat at and it is right in the heart of town. The bananas are delicious!

Food is average. Coffee came after the meal was pretty much done. They do have very fast service and the people were nice. Lots of other tplaces in town to check out. No regrets, just wouldn’t go back again.

Very friendly staff and the choco banana with granola was so good! My husband thought it was a silly idea but after he took the first bite he was ready to order another one! They’re not just “for kids” these are delicious and great on...a hot day.More

Nice local spot to grab coffee and something to eat. They have smoothies and milkshakes . Earth friendly there as well. They charge you like $2 for a cup that you keep and they will buy it back when you leave if you want. Loved...the Choco Banana Latte! Friendly barista as wellMore

I stayed in Sayulita for 2 weeks and found myself returning here a few times. There is definitely a sense of familiarity with menus items if you're from UK, US or Australia. I loved the variety of options for breakfast. You could go full English...style with sausages, roasted mushrooms and fried eggs or a refreshing smoothie. From a classic Mexican breakfast to some delicious banana bread on the go. The mornings I was going on a surf tour or mtn biking, I popped by there (they luckily weren't crazy busy) and grabbed a quick hand held breakfast to go. Highly recommend!More

Had a lovely brunch with my daughter here. She loved being able to be so close to the plaza. They gave her a picture to color. I had an iced coffee and thought it was a fun touch that they had coffee ice cubes.

The majority of places only getting moving around 9am in Sayulita, but we’re hungry a bit earlier in the day. One day 2 in Sayulita it was wonderful to find the ChocoBanana open early and even better was that their coffee and food is all...delicious. We ordered the oatmeal, chiliaques, and banana bread, along with a latte and cappuccino one morning and sat in the restaurant. The lovely owner who has pictures of her from back in the 70s to now on the walls mixed with the patrons and thanked us for coming. The next day on the way to an excursion we circled back for a couple to-go coffees and more of the banana bread.More

While it looks like a place for coffee or dessert, the food is great. Plenty of organic healthy choices for non meat eaters and fresh juices. The carne asada burrito was fantastic. Well seasoned chunks of steak meat, avocado, onions and dripping with melted cheese...this was no average burrito. In fact Ill be getting another before I leave.More
