The shrimp tacos were very generous and great flavors. The shrimp burger was a winner, too. Had lunch and prices are very reasonable compared to the US.

We walked by and decided to try Tierra Viva for lunch and were glad we did! I had the fish and my wife had the shrimp tacos and they were the best. The service was great and friendly. We ended up coming back a few...days later and had smoothies, pancakes and potatoes for brunch and that was also great. One of our favorite restaurants in Sayulita.More
Service was nice - location is perfect. But the food just isn’t very good. I had the arrarrachara, tough and not seasoned well. Over cooked veggies. My husband had the mole. Not good. Guac was ok - still had some seasoning to it. All and...all, there’s better options in Sayu. Skip this one.More
Great sushi. We were surprised by the quality. Try the rainbow roll! And if you’re lucky you’ll get a seat next to the iguana tree.
Amazing sushi at dinner! The garlic Mahi was also fantastic. The waitress was very sweet and the location is away from the busy downtown. We went 2 times in the 10 days.
So good we had to go back twice! The ceviche was fantastic, the best we've had in Sayulita. The classic margaritas were also delivious and not too sweet. Very friendly and professional staff. They had a good mix of creative fusion dishes and traditional mexican...food.More
We ate at the bar which is right on an off street from the Square. We had four beers, an order of guacamole, and four entrées for under $40 US. The ahi was fresh and delicious.
Restaurant was recommended for good fish by a friend. We weren't interested in having fish but went to it anyway because I wanted a vegetarian chili relleno which they have. When we arrived I asked a server for a table for two and said sit...anywhere. There was only one small table available but no chairs at it so we had to take the only other available table which seats 6. The same server came and rudely scolded us for choosing a table for 6. He said sit anywhere and it was the only table! My husband had the tortilla soup with some sushi which he enjoyed. Unfortunately when I received the vegetarian chili relleno the rice and vegetables were cold and the relleno was terrible. I'm not a picky eater but didn't like the taste at all. It didn't seem like it was made from scratch. The chili had a luke warm batter and was stuffed with spinach and mushrooms. There was no cheese and no sauce except some mayo squirted on top. It was weird. I couldn't eat any of it . When our server noticed I hadn't touched it he gave me a thumbs up as a question. I told him the sides were cold and the relleno didn't taste good. He didn't know what to say so said nothing. I asked to order something else and he brought the menu. I ordered the veggie tower appetizer and enjoyed it. When we got the bill the relleno was on it and the tower wasn't. Terrible service to charge for the more expensive item that I couldn't eat. We paid the bill anyway as I didn't want to complain more. Also didn't think they would deal with it appropriately. The dinner rush had ended and the servers were more interested in socializing with each other than serving customers. We had minimal and delayed service the entire time.More
Tierra Viva was easily one of our most memorable restaurants in Sayulita. From the top-notch serving staff who were attentive, courteous, and efficient to the incredibly tasty food and drink they served, Tierra Viva was one of the highlights of our trip to Sayulita.
Nice restaurant with great food. Menu isn't huge but the seafood dishes are very good, we especially enjoyed the three different shrimp(prawn) dishes which were very well done. We ate here twice during our trip.
I’d go back again and again . Easily one of the best places in Sayulita . Excellent menu choices , awesome staff and be sure to check out the upstairs for a quaint dinner experience . Downstairs is also open for dinner but breakfast and...lunch are top notch . It’s still affordableMore
Excellent. we had breakfast there three times and lunch ones. The Benedict eggs are great and my wife had the chiliquies Service is fantastic and there’s places to eat in the shade
Excellent seafood choices! Don’t skip the sushi, the watermelon habanero marg is delicious! Great service too. I loved the atun tostadas
We have being coming for years , always good food, nice staff . We like the sushi menu and ceviche , always good . We will be back.
We stopped here for breakfast. I had Huevos a la Mexicana and my husband had Huevos rancheros. Both were delicious. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
