About
This is a bakery/caf'è situated in the center of Lom. I was surprised it wasn't listed. It is a very nice place, and a must for those who just need a coffeebrake and a snack. The manager used to be a Chef, and still is offcourse, but he started this bakery and launched a cookbook in 2009. The book was awarded "norwegian cookbook of the year" in 2009. I really hope you list this one, together with the restaurant in the Fossheim Turisthotell.

Excellent bakery! One of the best in Norway! Expect a line, and it can be hard to get a table. Their buns are great!

When was the last time we went into a bakery and they picked the goods using their hands? It's so long ago that we can't remember. Until we visited the Bakeriet I Lom. We were several friends that really looked forward to this visit. We...More

The bakery has a good variation of freshly baked goodies. Also some bread to bring home and some great coffee. The bakery is situated next to a river so when we were there it was a great view

A stop at Bakeriet I Lom is a ‘must.’ We bought a multigrain bread that sustained us for several days. The display of sweet bread is well done. My favorite was ‘boller.’ They are large and generously mixed with raisins. If you have time you...More

We were looking forward to stopping in Lom to visit Bakeriet but were wholeheartedly disappointed. The place was not busy, and we could walk right up to the counter. The staff seemed bored and not very service-minded. The sandwiches were a total disappointment. They were...More

This bakery is famous all over Norway. Tuesday morning we dropped by for some buns and sandwiches to bring with us for the day’s hiking in the mountains. The shop was very busy, but after 15 mins we got our sandwiches and cinnamon buns. And...More

It was amazing to get caught by the smell at breakfast time! It has a stall outside the bakery to avoid the queue, if you are looking for just a brioche and a coffee. Inside there is plenty of choice! Prices are worth the quality!

There were 2 long queues at this bakery. One for people wanting to sit down with their purchase, and the other was the takeaway line. There were tables and chairs next to the takeaway line but it appeared that many people were hogging them, even...More

Excellent selection of sweet and savoury bread. They also have a takeout counter on the outside with a smaller selection that includes freshly made pizza.

Boring sandwich, tasteless dry bread, the smallest amount of parmesan I've ever seen in a sandwich. Tasteless salad. My first time ever writing in trip advisor, felt I had to, as the experience was so bad. A waste of my time and money.

Not absolutely certain, but I would think they have gluten free bread as they have so many different options.
