Just love this place! We stumbled upon this quaint Classic Italian restaurant by accident. We get the Mr Gilberti’s large pizza nearly every time with a piece of seasonal cake to share. On most occasions, we take the pizza as a take n bake to...cook at home. We have also gotten the amazing spinach dip with garlic balls. Cant even describe how terrific these are! The pasta is incredible. Perfectly cooked every time. Marinara is nearly addictive and Alfredo so rich n creamy. Oh! Forgot the Andy Williams salad. A meal in itself. We also enjoy the Chianti and Italian beer. Cant go wrong with anything you order. The owners are hard working great people. The staff is always attentive.More

The pan pizza is the best I have ever had. It’s a thin pie crust vs. thick bready crust. Beautiful location. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 was that the waitress seemed to forget about us once we ordered. I will definitely come...back!More

We decided to try Mr. Gilberti's Place based on Trip Advisor reviews. We arrived about 6:00 pm Saturday evening. The parking lot was packed but it's also a very small lot! Walked in and stood for a few minutes before we were greeted. The hostess...asked if we had reservations which we did not (decided at last minute to try the place). She was a little rude expressing that we should always make a reservation on a weekend (we were travelling from out of state and had no idea how popular the place was). She said she would go check to see if she could seat us; there were SEVERAL empty tables that we could see while we stood to wait. She did seat us right by the door. We observed her same semi-rude behavior to everyone else that came in and 99% of the people coming in didn't have a reservation and she was able to seat every party that came in so not sure why the attitude?! The pizza was delicious! We would probably return when we visit Branson again but I would probably make a reservation!More

I have been coming here for years so I can share that there is genuine consistency with this quaint little joint. The service is great, the girls are sweet and you Gary’s love the atmosphere topped off with their fedoras and vests! Old Blue Eyes...playing, red checker table cloths and pictures of famous fans on the wall, it’s got charm. It reminds me of joints in Chicago, built in an old house in a residential neighborhood like you’d see in the city. One of the better chicago style pies outside of Chi-town and the BEST within a days drive for sure! Great Alfredo and the thin crust is a treat as well. This is a must do spot if you love quaint little joints and great pie! If you don’t like pizza or pasta, the Tony Orlando is a hit! Try it, you’ll like it, capeesh? We are locals and went to this restaurant for the first time. We arrived about 6:00 P.M. and the parking lot was totally full. The gentleman parking cars was very helpful in getting us into a space. We did not have reservations ( did not...know we needed one) and was told the wait would be approximately one hour. We were getting ready to leave - there was no place to sit and wait). We also saw numerous empty tables. I asked the hostess if there was anything she could do to help us and after some discussion with other staff found us a table and immediately seated us. All of the staff we dealt with were very cordial. There appeared to be plenty of servers working for the number to tables there. The menu is extensive, but a bit expensive. Our table had the meatballs, a small thin-crust pizza and a manicotti dish. The foor arrived in short order and everything was delicious. Portion sizes were large and served piping hot Most entrees are served with a salad and garlic bread. I highly recomment this restaurant but if you plan to go, I would suggest making reservations. This restaurant has the potential to be very good. We arrived on a weekday for a late lunch. One employee taking orders, serving and getting checks and processing payments. That same person may also have been preparing the food. It was loud and clear to...everyone that the place is short staffed. We ordered a salad that was very good. Thin crust pizza was burnt all around the edges. Other than that it was tasty. Leftovers were boxed up for us to take. We ordered cannoli to go. Surprised that the cannoli was also burnt and given to us to go. In fact the box was opened to show us before we took it out. The whipping cream tastes like cool whip. Hope they get they get the staffing worked out and things improve.More

Probably some of the best pizza in the area with a wonderful Chicago touch. They also have very good Italian beef which can’t find anywhere else in the area
