First, try to schedule your visit away from lunch crowd. Seems they don't have enough staff to handle the winery tours that flood the place. Our service was terrible and I heard of others receiving the same. The food was average. I should also include our visit was during slow season.

The schnitzel with dill sauce is very good and sides of German potato salad and red cabbage are also good. My husband tried the pork belly plate. We had no idea what this was but it was delicious! We will go back and both of us will order this. The service was good and we also really enjoyed the moscato... More

Dishes at the Vintage are hearty. This German restaurant has been in business for decades and has perfected German specialties. The potato pancakes are to die for. These are not low calorie meals but they are tasty. Several sandwiches are also offered but are mundane by comparison; Our party of four ordered three of the fine German specialties plus one... Okay atmosphere, a little noisy! Great potato pancakes on the appetizers! The schnitzel was good, not great. Price points are okay as well.

If planning a trip to Stone Hill winery or Herman, this is a good place for lunch. Authentic German food and it's pretty good. I had the wurst platter. The sauerkraut, red cabbage, and pickled onions were very good. The sausage was decent, a little over cooked, but still good. My wife loved the potatoes pancakes. Definitely worth a stop.

The food is good. If you like German food, I recommend trying it out. The service can be really slow though.

This visit was during the Hermann Oktoberfest celebration. Thus, the Stone Hill Vintage Restaurant had a special German menu. And, all of the food was very good. We ordered the German pretzels....quite good....came with a mustard and a white cheese dip, also very good. Then we shared the "German Trio" that was a sampler plate that had rouladen, sausage, schnitzel,... More

While the menu is not very large, the food is pretty good. Deducted points because the lack of ambiance.

Best not to go wine tasting on an empty stomach. Have a nice German meal then take the Tour and Tasting. Truly a fine experience.
