Building: Dining under the grain silos while admiring the grain scale, enjoying creative yet functional woodwork and engineering, and happy to see such a beautiful craftsmanship survive to be repurposed into this crafty establishment. Food: Delicious!!! We shared the pretzels and knackwurst appetizers which paired...very well together. The Prime Rib (rare) was above average but wasn't up to our expectations and may be the only not-so-positive part of the visit; however, the potato and veggie sides were delightful. The grilled chicken with local bourbon bbq drizzle, herb mashed potatoes, and same veggie sides was a hit with my taste buds. And the side Tin Mill house salad with spring lettuce mix was rustic herbal with the perfect balsamic vinaigrette. We capped the dinner with a beautifully presented chocolate+caramel drizzle New York style cheesecake. Drinks: Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade was a welcome refresher. The beer flight was the perfect sampler for our food choices. Staff: Our waitress, Brittany, was observant without hovering and provided immediate answers to most our questions and found answers to all questions. Overall very pleasant to engage with, attentive, and otherwise helped cap our dining experience anticipating or next visit.More

The beers were ok. The flight is a good sample of what they have to offer, I didn't personally find the beers that great, The atmosphere was fun, and the game room upstairs was fun.

You pay $11 for 6 beers (5 oz). they give you 4 and you choose 2 from the list. All German style beers at this place. They have a self guided tour of the brewery and gift shop. The food smelled delicious but we did...not eat here.More

Considering it was Easter Sunday at lunch time, the few staff they had were very friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were very good.

The atmosphere was great, I love the rustic look of the restaurant. The service was wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the seafood platter which was plenty of food to share or have for later. Everything was extremely tasty and oh so...good. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.More

We stopped in right after they opened for the day and were greeted by some very friendly bartenders. There was a large selection of beer on tap. I ordered a Hermann Mule which was amazing and my husband got two beers. We also got a...pretzel and beer cheese which was amazing! The bartender was very helpful and this was our first time in Hermann and gave us an idea of what there was to do.More

Do yourself a favor and stop in when visiting Hermann. Tin Mill has excellent drinks and beer choices. I always enjoy getting a flight and trying some appetizers. The pork rinds and cheese curds are bomb!

My husband and I visited the Tin Mill restaurant during our anniversary weekend for lunch. We have been here a few times but I feel like their food was especially memorable this time. We split a grilled chicken sandwich and the schnitzel sandwich. I hesitate...to get grilled chicken sometimes because they are often dry and bland. The chicken was so juicy and had bacon, cheese, and a special sauce. The schnitzel sandwich was bigger than my face and was so crunchy and tasty with a dill sauce. The sweet potato fries were incredible. Service was great. Wasn’t a huge fan of the old fashioned that I had, but that was probably just me. Would totally go back!More

We generally stop here for a beer during our trips to Hermann and this time was no different. We sat outside with family and our dogs for beer and a snack. The food is pretty typical bar food. The toasted ravioli and fried mushrooms were...good. I do like the beer here. I had the hefeweizen. Very tasty! Service is always pretty good here as well. It's a very nice reprieve from the large amounts of wine you'll be drinking!More
