We visited during Maifest and everything was crowded. The weather was perfect for sitting in the back patio area, so we chose a table outside. My husband and I both ordered locally made bratwurst - very good! Enjoyed good food and great service! So much so that we returned the next day for lunch! Would definitely eat here again!!

To be fair, I think our waitress might have been the only one there that night, but that was poor planning on management's part. A group of 7 of us went there on a Friday night and waitress was very friendly but clearly overwhelmed. Hermann is known for the wineries and we asked our waitress for suggestions and she told... This was a very down home, country style place. I went for dinner with friends. They ordered off their German menu and were pretty satisfied. I had a hard time ordering because I don't eat meat so I got the nachos with no meat which were a big portion and they were fine. We did order their "World's Best Gin... More

My friends and I tried to go there Thursday evening. We were looking for a place with a patio. A local informed us the Concert Hall and Barrel Bar had a patio. When we got there I asked if there was a patio we could sit on. A waitress responded, "No." We would have been okay if she responded with,... More

Looking for a place for friends and family to gather during our weekend wedding in Hermann. Casual, fun bar atmosphere and one of the few places we could find that was open past 9pm.

Everything was OK. Standard bar food. I got the Ruben and wasn't really impressed. They used pickled cabbage instead of krout and it makes the bread mushy. He got the steak sandwich. It was pretty good.

Great drinks and beer. We had lunch and dinner here. It has a good variety and the prices are good for Hermann. Some of the other places try to get a little too much money for their products in a tourist town. The bruger and brats were good. I didn't care of the german potato salad, but it may just... More

This is a historic building. It's a bar with basic bar food. The bratwurst is from the Wurst House so it's fantastic. Full service bar with helpful staff. Table cleanliness could be better. The food and the drinks do come pretty quickly. The blt salad was nice. (Not many options for food allergies) the bratwurst platter was really good

We had dinner here. I enjoyed my Reuben with red cabbage instead of sauerkraut. German potato salad was decent too. My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich and chips. Beer was cold!

Thank Jennifer M
