Lovely dinner spot. Our server was so attentive. We had started with side salads and shared the brisket Mac and cheese. Delicious and it was nice they were ok with us sharing. Finished with coffee and the chocolate torte. Amazing. We decided to not drink...tonight but they all looked amazing. So creative. Next time.More

Food and service were both fantastic. Our bartender was a younger male who made me an original whiskey sour which was great. Beef brisket sandwich was phenomenal along with the pork tenderloin!

It’s nice to visit once for the experience. I’m not a hard liquor Connoisseur. I really don’t see the draw in drinking straight whiskey. Maybe if I liked the feel of my throat and stomach lining melting away in a blazing inferno of agonizing pain,...then I would give it 5 stars.More

First visit for all 6 of us on a Sunday night. The restaurant was alive and happy, yet we could easily talk at our table. Nice menu-gluten free salmon salad was wonderful as was the beef brisket. Will return.

We attempted to dine at this establishment in 2019, but they were booked. So, we booked a reservation earlier this year to ensure that wouldn’t happen again. First of all, our server, Heather, was outstanding. Very attentive and appeared to really enjoy her job. Great...smile! The spinach artichoke dip w/ pita bread was outstanding. The main dishes were good as well. My wife had the scallops and pasta and I had the fish and chips. We thought the alcoholic beverages were a bit overpriced for their size. We were surprised how overcrowded the dining area was. Guests were right on top of one another. It was bright and not very romantic. It has more of a sports bar atmosphere, which is fine. Overall, not a bad place to dine.More

Beautiful facility with diverse menu. The schnitzel was delicious but the highlight was the brisket Mac N cheese!!! Great cocktail menu as well!!! Has a patio overlooking the River valley for nice days. Fast and friendly service. A must hit while in town!

The spirit tasting/sampling is a great value and the staff knows what they are taking about. As busy as the area is during Octoberfest, they take time to cater to their guests.

We enjoyed our first dinner here so much we came back to try other items on their menu before we left from our weekend getaway. Fish and chips were crisp and not greasy! Schnitzel for my husband was fantastic. The next night, we ate a...bit lighter, but we wanted to try their smoked meats. Yummy! And, of course, the trains going by was, for us, a great view!More

The best pretzel sticks you will ever taste! The bourbon and mojito were very good and both meals we had were very good. You will not be disappointed in this place! They are open late, good to keep in mind since many places close early.

We had reservations for this past Friday night and arrived a bit early. As the table wasn't ready till the scheduled time, we sat at the bar and tried some wines and also a drink (or two) while chatting with the bartenders. The bar service...was great as was the Old Fashioned. For dinner, I had the Swordfish and the wife had the scallops. Everything was delicious! Topped it off with their Dark Chocolate Torte and enjoyed a great evening at Fernweh.More

We ate dinner here this past Friday (May 21, 2021) Wife had brisket, which was very tender and delicious - only lightly smoked, with a very mild BBQ sauce. I had the bacon jalapeno burger, which was fantastic. Others have complained about the prices, but...this was great food, and worth every penny. Two drinks - a specialty martini, and an old fashioned were strong and delicious. Not too many choices in Hermann, but this is a keeper!More

Really lovely place to eat— terrific bar that was full and which is seems is the most popular spot to sit. Patio with table to eat outside with view of the river. Cheerful service and yummy drinks and food!

Fernweh is a fun place to grab lunch and drinks. The bartenders are great and they have created a fun drink menu that changes seasonally. I love trying their new concoctions!

Ordered 3 hamburgers to go. Two were undercooked (very pink) and one was mostly raw. Macaroni and cheese was worse than boxed and sweet potato fries were cold and flabby. For $50? What a disappointment!
