Great homemade root beer with very good diner food selections. A must stop when in Hannibal MO. Service was excellent and very helpful with ideas on what to see and do when in Hannibal.

I was in a bad mood starting out. Upon being seated, our waitress Shayla was outstanding from minute one! She was helpful, friendly, and definitely on top of everything. Even serving multiple tables, no one wanted for anything! The food was very reasonably priced, and good food in a family friendly setting. The restaurant was very clean and there were... More

Ended up giving this a 4/5 instead of a 3/5 because the location; root beer & maid rites were worth the 4. The actual food was kind of mediocre though. The service was excellent. I would go again though.

Improved seating in first room. New bill paying system at checkout at desk, great system. Waitress was not overly friendly, just right.

Eaten here several times. The interior has recently had upgrades. Breakfast has always been good. Maid rites, hand breaded onion rings (order the foot or half-foot on a pole with three dipping sauces) and homemade rootbeer are what they are well known for, and rightly so. All are typically excellent, and with a recent price change ($2.00 maid rites!) that... More

The food was plentiful and the service super. We arrived hungry and left satisfied. We also enjoyed a game of checkers at the table while we waited for our meal.

Waited more than 20 minutes for barely warm food. Tenderloin looked great, but had no flavor, cajun tenderloin?? Expected spice , got blah. Fries soggy, onion rings tasteless. Nothing was hot or seasoned.

A Maid Rite diner with drive in service. Service was fast and friendly. Easy parking. No complaints at all. Wish I could have tasted more. Homemade root beer!

10 out of 10! The food was delicious and at a great price. My waitress Ashley put a smile on my face and was on top of everything. It was nice to see employees that actually seemed happy even though they were go go go.Very clean restaurant. They were very busy and I still received my food very quickly. Highly... More

Our family arrived from different parts of the state to enjoy a vacation together. Our first meal was at Mark Twain Dinette. We waited over 45 minutes after we ordered our food but noticed people who arrived after us were getting their meals. When the food arrived it was cold and some of us sent it back. When we asked... Dear Sir, your large group came in during lunch rush, all arriving at different times over 15 minutes. Other tables received their food more quickly than you because they ordered items that don't take as long to prepare. I was the manager that came out to talk you because you had been so rude and demanding toward all 4 of... More
