We stopped for lunch, and had sandwiches and ice tea. The meal was good and reasonably prices. I would eat there again if in the area. The atmosphere was causal. The were several families there with their children.

We had soup and various sandwiches - all were good. The menu has a nice variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, etc. Although we didn't have coffee, they had a nice selection there, too.

Right in the historic part of town, this little gem has great food. This was my second visit. The first time was a year ago for breakfast and this time for lunch. I was pleased with my meal both times.

They have many tasty coffee options including just plain coffee. The sandwiches were good, the ambiance great with plenty of seating. We heard that the soups are created by a local chef and that the desserts were wonderful. They also have real ice cream!

Delicious lunch here while visiting Twain's Boyhood Home & Museum. Chicken salad was the best, and while we didn't try the homemade desserts, they looked terrific! Highly recommend for those who want to try local dining!

Free Internet, nice assortment of coffees and teas. Nice casual atmosphere and very helpful staff. It seemed to be a hot spot for the locals. This opens before many of the other shops.

This place has great food and drinks, and a fun relaxing atmosphere. My favorite drink is a milky way with almond milk, no whip topping, extra shot of espresso. My go to sand which is the Turkey croissant with red bean hummus. I also like their Turkey wrap.

Java Jive is a friendly, local coffee shop on the main drag of Hannibal. It's got lots of seating and some crafts and vintage stuff if you are interested:). The coffee is good (free refills -- yeah!!) and the treats were delicious -- we had a salted caramel bar and a lemon blueberry bar. Both were big and tasty, and... More

My wife and I wanted a cold drink and immediately had many choices as soon as we walked in the door. We each settled for a sparkling huckleberry lemonade, which kept us hydrated for 100 miles on the Interstate. Lots of goodies, including real foods, were also available. If you're in the Hannibal historic district, pop in and get some... More

Thought I would try this out as it has a good report on trip adviser. Visit on a lunchtime. The seating is spacious and the food was very good. It was a bit expensive for what you got. I ordered 2 coffees 2 wraps and 2 cakes which came to just over $26 but alright for a special treat. You... More

There is always something happening down at Java Jive. In the morning, you can join in on a heated political debate with the Royal Academy of Gentlemen sitting outside, cozy up on a gently used sofa with one of the daily papers or recent magazine, and catch up on e-mail and business with our free wi-fi.
Our coffee selection features coffees from all around the world in a variety of flavors and roasts, sure to suit any taste. We take pride in using a local roaster, Chauvin Coffee, a family owned business now in its fourth generation of roast masters.
Java Jive also offers a wonderful selection of fresh baked goods and deli items each day. We pride ourselves in having bakers and chefs that work tirelessly to create new and interesting soups, salads and desserts.
