About
Located in the Historic Fulton Brick District, Beks serves lunch and dinner in a causal atmosphere. All of our food is prepared in house and we hand cut our USDA aged steaks. Our pastas are made to order with 100% cream. In addition we serve several great sandwiches and salads as well as desserts. We feature creative lunch and dinner specials that we post twice a day on our web sight.

I had dinner with my friend. We had the artichoke dip for an appetizer, it was delicious. My friend ordered a large but was disappointed in the size of bowl; it did look pretty small.
I had Chinese duck and rice soup, it was good, it had a sweet taste to it. I got to sample the sweet potato beef and pork soup, which was more like a stew, and it was good; it had a good flavor and it wasn’t sweet.
I had the ribeye steak with broccoli bacon au gratin. The first thing that came to mind when I saw my plate was that I spent $21 on it - it didn’t look like $21 worth of food. The broccoli bacon au gratin was alright, it was cheesy and a little salty. I liked the flavor of my steak.
I had creme brûlée for dessert, it was perfect.
What I like about Beks is that for our tiny town, I can go there and look at their specials and feel like I’m at a fancy restaurant. I like that they have their regular menu, but they go out of their way to bring unique flavors to the community. Nobody else is serving sweet potato beef and pork soup or Chinese duck and rice soup - I’ve never even heard of them and I’m thankful that I got an opportunity to try that here in Fulton, that I didn’t have to drive to Columbia or Jeff City.
Yes, they are a tiny bit high on price, but when I look at the specials they are offering, the ingredients aren’t cheap. I can’t afford to eat there everyday, but if I want to treat my tastebuds to a new experience I know that Beks is the place to go.

The dishes, appetizers, soups...are all made in house daily; and it shows. It doesn’t matter what we’ve ordered at Beks over the years; it’s always very good.
The most recent pleasant surprise we had there was the minestrone soup. Holy smokes, it was good.
The bar has an excellent selection of beer, wine and liquor. It’s a great place to try something new.

I have many food allergies. I am VERY allergic to cilantro & garlic. I discussed this with our wonderful waitress, Mandy. She asked awesome chief, Danny to come talk to me. Garlic & cilantro are in many dishes.
Danny made a special balsamic salad dressing for my salad & I chose their grilled cheese sandwich. Probably the best lunch ever.
I was touched by both of their caring attitudes & delicious lunch.

The carrot cake IS very good. The lunch visit service was slow to average. The southwestern chicken salad was flavorful and large. Just avoid the 1/2 pound burger: bland, factory pressed patty with too much bread. All in all, it was lunch. Filling but not remarkable.

just got home from beks after one of the worst meals my family as a whole has ever had. my wife and i and our 2 sons and their wifes decided to go to beks as we had not been there for awhile. both sons ordered steaks that were cold and to tough to eat, 1 sent his complete meal back and they took it off the bill. ther were 2 orders of mashed potatoe that were burnt that should never have been served to any table, my wifes chicken cordon bleu eggrolls were too cold to eat the bacon wrapped jalapena were practically burnt 1 so bad we did not eat it. practically all the food had problems and would not have made it out of most resturants kitchens, i do not know why a manager or the waitress would not say something to the kitchen crew about the food before delivering it to the table, there is no way anybody should not know mashed potatos would taste good when they were black on top. very poor service, very poor food and still charge a 20 percent fee on the bill

Definitely a town favorite. Whenever we are able to get to town we have to eat here. Quality is consistent. Daily specials are creative while the menu staples remain great. Spinach artichoke dip, fried pickles, chipotle chicken sandwich, can’t go wrong. Great service.

Located in a former dry goods store and adjacent building in the historic Brick section of downtown. The high tin ceilings, dark wood bar, exposed brick walla lend to the dramatic yet casual atmosphere. Menu ranged from speciality burgers to duck breasts to steak. Excellent wine and cocktail menu. Excellent service. Excellent food. My husband's duck won rave reviews from him. (A rarity from him). Grilled squash spears were so tasty. Coffee creme Brule for dessert. Reasonable prices for the amazing meal.

This place is a popular lunch spot with the locals. Fortunately we arrived early before the weekday lunch crowd made an appearance. Their menu offers a variety of sandwich selections all but one of which were great. The burger, chicken & pulled pork choices were all quite good. The Reuben however had meat that was over cooked, dry & flavorless. Service was prompt & friendly.

We went her because everyone we encountered said it was the best in town. Salmon dinner was very good, and moderately price. Pasta was good, and special salad was very good. Drink ordered was a Gimlet, but apparently they don't have Rose's Lime at the bar and used some other kind of lime juice that changed the drink and made it cloudy. Also charged $11 for it!
It seemed like the first room we entered, the bar, was lively with great ambiance. However, we were seated in a very large room with less atmosphere.
All in all, not bad, just less than we had expected.

This is a great restaurant for a small town. Wonderful service. Pleasant personalities. People who actually seem to care! There's a good amount of variety on the menu. Soup was excellent. The "skinny salmon" was also very good. Save room for dessert! They are known for their large pieces to share and for their incredible carrot cake. However, any of their desserts are fantastic and far more reasonable priced than most places today! This is truly a perfect spot when in the area.

Stopped here with a friend after a nearby business meeting. This place is in central Fulton. It is large and in an older but nice building. Staff is very friendly. They have a diverse menu. I had a chicken chipotle sandwich, and my friend tried the trout special. Both were very good, as were salads. For dessert, the chocolate mousse and the chocolate truffle cheesecake were both excellent. Prices were reasonable. Overall, an excellent experience.

Food was surprisingly good, server was young but very enthusiastic and cheery. Bacon corn chowder was excellent, as was the Beks burger. Always try to go and support local, glad we did and would definitely try again.

My husband and I had the pleasure of having dinner at Beks last evening and it was delicious. I had salmon and he enjoyed a pork chop. The wine was good and so were the mixed drinks. We live an hour away and it was certainly worth the trip. We will go again. Hopefully, we can have Daisy wait on us every time. She was tremendous!

We went out with some friends. This restaurant is a great place to go with friends or family! You have to try the Parmigian artichoke dip! It is awesome! Their specials are always unique. They have good sandwiches and their steaks are always good!

Fabulous lunch to celebrate my moms 99th birthday. Food was top notch. Service top notch. I would highly recommend for lunch and would love to go back for dinner when we visit the area again.
