Very good Thai food!

Located on Lindbergh in Florissant, this is a very nic Thai restaurant. The decor is pretty nice and there is plenty of parking. They seemed to generate a pretty good lunch crowd. Service was very good, even dealing with a difficult customer in the restaurant. The food was also very good. Crispy spring rolls were really tasty! My daughter's stir-fry with chicken and my Thai Rama were also very good. Prices are reasonable. Definitely worth trying!

GREAT RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE!!!

I thoroughly enjoy my lunch from Pearl Cafe. I ordered the Drunken Noodles, which happen to be one of their top selling entrees. The noodles, vegetables, and chicken were all well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I also had their chicken broth soup with rice and carrots which was AMAZING with a rich chicken flavor, as if it had been cooking all day! I finished off my meal with a Butterfly (Crab Rangoon) and Fried Spring Roll....SUPERB!!!! Overall, I HIGHLY recommend...10 out of 10!

THAI IS RIGHT

My friends and I went on our Girls Day. One of my friends suggested this place. She frequently has dinner with her husband. We went for before our Christmas break was over. My friends and daughter ordered Thai fried rice. I ordered Pad Thai with tofu. We enjoyed our entrees, the bubble tea not so much. The boba were not cooked properly. I replaced mine with a Thai iced tea. It was delicious. Almost perfect, except for the bubble tea. I will probably come back.

Pearl Cafe never fails to impress. I love their Thai fried rice and Thai butterflies. I work at a firm in Brentwood, and order takeout for lunch when possible. It's worth the drive and the food is always delicious. Staff is friendly and prompt with order fulfilment. I think that people saying it isn't spicy don't know that you can ask for higher spice levels.

Excellent Thai restaurant

This place is special. Great service, excellent food and nice atmosphere. My wife and I were overnighting in St. Louis to catch and early morning flight. We found this restaurant on the internet and decided to give it a try. Good choice. My curry was excellent and my wife's Thai Rama was also excellent. If we are ever in this area again, this is a do over.

Our large order was accurate and delicious! Thank you, Pearl Cafe, for taking the time to ensure the order was correct. The Lunch Special is the way to go. In these trying times, you get so much for your $. I ate my lunch special for two meals!

Food Took Too Long and Is Not Spicy

We went to Pearl tonight for my daughter’s 17th birthday. There were 6 of us. The place was very busy when we arrived at about 6:40 but we were seated in 25 minutes so not bad. 5 tables were seated after us, 3 with 4 people and 2 with 2 people. We ordered appetizers and they came out in a decent amount of time. However, it took 50 minutes to get our food once we ordered it. 4 tables (2 with 4 people and 2 with 2 people) that arrived after us got their food and had finished eating by the time we got ours. The food was good but out of 6 dishes, only 1 had any heat to it. I love Thai food but it should be spicy or they should at least give you the option to have it hot. Everyone there was very nice and that was why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

Try Thai!

The Pearl Cafe is usually very crowded, so for that reason I order take-out often. My favorite thing to order is Grilled Pork and Sticky Rice And Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. It’s spicy enough but not too spicy. You should try it!

Can't figure out all the good reviews

We don't understand why this place is so popular. We've heard people say this is the best Thai restaurant in Florissant, but to us it isn't even close. Both of the other Thai restaurants in the area are much better in our opinion. When we went to this place, it was awful. When the food came to the table, we had to avert our noses because the smell was so bad. It honestly smelled like our dog's food. My wife ordered Pad Thai, a standard dish, in order to compare to the same dish at other restaurants. It was all noodles and she said it was the worst Pad Thai she ever had. I managed to eat my food as long as I didn't smell it while I was eating. Honestly, it was so bad, it was funny. If the waiter weren't decent, it would have been a total loss. We're still confounded as to how anyone can like the food at this place..

Best Thai Around

While in town for work Pearl Cafe was recommended by a friend as the best thai food in the St. Louis area. He wasn’t wrong. The food was fresh and delicious, and the crab rangoon was crispy and tasted great. I will gladly come back for lunch.

Maybe it’s me, but most of the Thai restaurants in St. Louis are hit or miss and this place is no exception. I’ve always been greeted with an inconsistent dining experience; everything from a cold restaurant to food not packing a flavorful punch. This is a shame because the staff is always very warm and accommodating however, I’d rather have consistency over apologies.
