Frisco's Grill and Pub is located in Cuba's Uptown Historic District, Frisco's is open Sunday through Saturday. Jimmy and Ben, owners and managers, are there to greet you. Frisco's Grill and Pub also has an outside dining area for those days and nights you want to dine out doors, and offers a private room for parties. The separate pub room has 22 beers on tap and features local Missouri craft ales. The full bar will satisfy your cocktail desire and offers a large selection of Scotch, with an expanded wine list. With 6 large tv's in the pub you'll be sure to be able to catch the game. We also will cater that special event!!

I looked forward to eating

I looked forward to eating at Frisco’s. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was over cooked. It was more of a meatball then a flat burger. The fries came out hot and crisp. But the oil they were cooked in was very old. The fries were greasy and tasted like old oil and fishy

I LOVE THE FOOD AND atmosphere

Always seated promptly great service great menu food is always consistently delicious. My favorite in this town. I was just there with my Daughter and her family. Plan on meeting up with my Aunt Helen for an early lunch today. It's her favorite place to meet and eat as well...❤❤❤❤❤ .

Absolute FAVORITE restaurant!!!

My family has been coming to Frisco’s during our yearly float trip for a very long time. The food is DELICIOUS and so consistent. My family especially loves extra crispy wings and literally all of the appetizers. Not only is the food scrumptious, the service is amazing. They are so prompt and extremely friendly! Santiago served us the past 3 nights and was FANTASTIC! He was an excellent server and very knowledgeable about the restaurant. We got our food quickly and he was very friendly. We think he would be wonderful in a leadership position at Frisco’s. We ❤️ Frisco’s!!!

Long wait, questionable service and so-so food

We were in a party of 12 seated without a wait at 6pm on a Wednesday. That was the only positive thing I can say about this experience. Our server literally tossed the coasters on the table with fingernails that looked more like colorful talons, provided us our drinks, took our order (neither of which timely), and pretty much disappeared for an hour and a half. We were very close to giving up and walking across the street to another restaurant when we finally got our food. We had asked her opinion in order to narrow down our choices and many of us took her our advice, much to our dismay, and ordered her suggestion, a Frisco (basically a patty melt) burger. Besides a bun, there were only 3 ingredients (burger, cheese, grilled onions) and none of us got the grilled onions which pretty much makes the patty melt so good, right? I ordered a salad as our side and an appetizer and specifically asked for her to bring both out with our burger (hubby and I split it), nope, they both came out ahead and at different times, AND she initially brought out the wrong appetizer. We had to ask another server to refill water glasses and no one got a 2nd beer or glass of wine, we never got the chance. However, one of our friends ordered 1 beer and got 2, the server told him not to worry about it, leaving him to believe that she wouldn’t charge him for it….she did. I just can’t recommend this place because the service was neglectful and the food was not worth the wait.

No COVID, no consistency

Finally went to Frisco’s after an absence since beginning of Covid. Was disappointed that we were placed directly next to another table (less than 6’), the servers were not masked, catsup, salt/pepper on table, etc. One of our friends ordered chili with onions, came out Chili with cheese and then was charged 75 cents for the cheese. Ridiculous slow, the entire restaurant was served before us. We won’t be back for awhile.

Burnt Toni

It was an hour and 20 minutes from the time we arrived until we got our food. Then when the food arrived the Chicken Toni was obviously burned. One end was completely burned but I decided I would take a bite from the middle. It was hard to cut through, was dry and had an obvious burned flavor. The side of pasta was also dry and appeared it had been sitting. I ate my baked potato while I waited for the waitress to come back. When I told her it was too burned to eat, she said she would let them know. A little while later the manager came over and said she would discount my meal. Then she came back and apologized and said she had taken 50% off our bill. What she actually meant was she had taken 50% off my meal, which meant I paid over 6.00 for a small baked potato. As we were leaving the manager told me that it is her favorite meal and that next time ask them to cook it on a flat top grill instead so it won’t taste burned. 🤷‍♀️ Sorry, there won’t be a next time for me.

Fist and last time eating here.

Save your money, go to McDonalds instead, you get more for the money and better burgers. ....I have always heard about how great Frisco's food taste, so while in Cuba I decided to get a to-go order. I ordered a cheeseburger well done and onion rings and another cheeseburger medium well and onion rings. When I got home, my cheeseburger was medium well done and my onion rings were way over cooked, the other cheeseburger was well done and their onion rings way over cooked. I could not switch cheeseburgers but the other one had ghost cheese on it. There was no flavor to the food and for the money I spent the burger was small and I only got 4 onion rings. I will not be going there again. I should have just went to McDonalds, i would have been about $20.00 richer and would have had better tasting food.

Of course, the restaurant was busy on Mother’s Day. Our reservation was at 1:00 and we were 10 minutes early, but was seated immediately. We were informed it might be 1:00 before we were waited on. No problem. Waitress took our drink orders but we didn’t receive menus. Once we had our drinks and finally placed the order it was nearing 1:30. Restaurant was starting to clear out about then. Good luck getting refills on drinks. Accidentally put water in a tea but then rudely said you have another one. Wow! Our wings came out and we then waited until 2:15 to question where our food was. She was quite rude about it. Informed us we had an appetizer. Now, I live Frisco’s house salads. Noticed right off the bat it was missing artichokes. Questioned about it and was told, again, very rudely they were out. Said I would’ve ordered a different salad had I known. Oh well. The manager asked how everything was. We mentioned her disrespectful attitude. She happened to hear and hatefully said she hadn’t been rude we were hateful. Yeah, we won’t be back. Our rude waitress was Lisa and the polite manager is Adam. Well, Happy Mother’s Day to us.

This place is an absolute gem. The staff is warm and friendly, the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the train theme is great fun. Booth seating along the back wall is set up like train seats, and there is a moving mural so it looks like you’re passing through the old west by train as you enjoy your meal. Fabulous!

Three of us for lunch. Two had the Reuben sandwich (recommended by our excellent server, Brianna??? My husband had a burger and fries. We loved the atmosphere, the service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious -- best Reuben I've had in forever. My only complaint: Please add a big dill pickle!! I pinched fries from my mother and husband and they were delicious. I had the cole slaw (which is the standard by which I rate every restaurant). I gave it an A-. Quite good. We will absolutely return every chance we get

Our annual float trip food tradition

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere every time . We visit once per year on our annual float trip and it is always fantastic . This year we asked for extra precautions due to COVID and they were kind to oblige. Santiago was our waiter all 3 nights (yes we go each night, it’s that good) and he was wonderful !

I love the feeling of sitting on the train as the landscape changes.

Frisco What a great time I had there to learn the history of this place. A original train depot. Had a conversation with the owner and learned about his recent addition. In the back of the restaurant in the main dining room are four windows that basically make you feel like you’re sitting on the train as you are passing by the landscape, what a excellent idea. Kiyah was great and I really enjoyed chatting with the owner, Jimmy. The only thing that I disliked about this place was the smoking in the bar area. I am not a smoker nor do I care for it. Everything else was top notch. Make sure you check some other things around the area, super fun good time for a stroll. I WOULD recommend.

Pretty good Food!

I finally found a good Prime Rib dinner at a reasonable price. They also have one of the better baked potatoes around here. The Caesar salad was the real deal, though a little light on the dressing.

We love Friscos, everything on the menu is good. They are known for their wings but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The spinach artichoke dip, stuffed mushrooms, and pizza are all great too!
