We were not pleased with trying this restaurant. The service was okay, but we kept having to ask for our water glasses to be filled. The appetizer course of friend cauliflower was excellent. Then the main courses came. One person ordered the prawn salad and remarked how delicious it was. My wife ordered trout, and it was so dry they took it off our bill. Another person ordered the ravioli with shrimp, and was pleased with her selection. I ordered the steak tacos, or should the gristle tacos. I just could not finish them, because at times it was like chewing rubber. Two of us ordered dessert. And both desserts were excellent. Not sure we would ever go back to this restaurant.

I hate giving negative reviews. I always try to find something positive. My only positive was my waitress. You could tell she cared but the odds were against her. So if you go, ask for Amy.
I ordered a Santa Fe salad. It doesn’t come with meat, but to add the driest chicken you’ve ever choked on is an additional $5. I don’t ever order a salad, but it was the best thing on the menu. It’s really only three different options but made into a bowl, wrap, sandwich, or pizza. So you would think it would be easier to right.. wrong. My salad had 3 ingredients left out. & by the time it made it to my table, I was just in the mood to leave. I left starving. It took at least 45 mins to get served. My waitress appeared to be the only one working and the manager was overshadowing her but never once asked to step in to help, just constantly walking past our table but never speaking. It’s just terrible leadership in my book. And when I sent my food back bc it was just gross, there wasn’t even an offer for compensation or at least taking it off the check. I paid, as that’s not what I was looking for. I seriously just wanted to eat. But to spend $40 and still leave starving bc the food was just gross.. that’s ridiculous. I negative 10 out of 10 recommend and would rather eat McDonald’s scraps then ever return here. Amy, find you a new job!

Very accommodating restaurant!!! I can’t express my delight for this restaurant enough. Our food & Service was out standing!
We had the chicken enchilada with a delicious cheese sauce by request which also happens to be gluten-free.
My mother is allergic to gluten, seafood and soy. Normally restaurants seem a bit annoyed having to deal with her allergies but Santa Fe Bistro went above and beyond to accommodate her.
The chef actually came to our table to discuss her allergies and food options and assured us he would make her a meal she could have. It sounded so good, 3 of 4 of us ordered it and all loved it.
The chef and co-owner both visited our table to check on us after our food had been delivered by our wonderful and attentive waiter.
I rarely post reviews but this time I wanted to express our appreciation for such a fantastic evening publicly.

It's rare for me to write a negative review, but here it is. Clearly understaffed. My food, the special of the evening (chicken mole enchiladas), was, at best, fair. Enchiladas themselves were dry and chewy. And mine arrived a full five minutes after the rest of the table was served. Posole was not anything near what a traditional one would be. Super Tres Leche cake, though. And the place is so noisy that we could not even talk to one another across our own table.

This restaurant has been open for over 6 months. It is located in a strip mall on Olive Blvd, near Highway 270. They serve brunch on weekends, lunch the rest of the week, and dinner daily. They specialize in Mexican/Southwestern cuisine, with many seafood offerings as well. We have eaten there 2 times for dinner and once for brunch. My wife has enjoyed the trout and salmon dishes, and I have tried chicken tacos and enchiladas (yummy). For brunch, she had the avocado toast, and I had an omelet. Also, excellent! Service is friendly and very good, decor is nice, with a modern look. Prices are a bit high, but the food is worth it! Well-worth a visit!!
