It has been almost 8 months since we have eaten at Murry's and it remains top notch. The food is consistent. We had grilled tenderloins and the fries. A favorite.

They have a wide variety of choices on their menu. I’ve tried most of them and all are good. Especially like their appetizers. The lighting is very low which is hard to adjust to at lunchtime, but very nice place.

Murry’s is hands down my favorite restaurant in Columbia. I have been going there over 20 years. I love the chicken poblano (spicy) and their simple dinner salad with pepper cream ranch dressing. Although the menu is a la carte, they have some interesting foods...which include frog legs, powdered-sugar fried green peppers, and chicken livers. The wait staff is professional and accomodating. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is unique, with a pianist some nights playing jazz, and layout is unusual...I love it at Christmas time when it’s decorated with lights. I love the old wooden bar and the marble top. The walls covered with all the music posters, makes me remember my favorite class at Mizzou with Professor Budds “Jazz Pop, & Rock”. Highly recommend.More

Delicious menu options from drinks to dessert! The green pepper rings are a MUST try. Get there early or expect to have a lengthy wait but you can grab drinks from the bar while you pass the time

We have been going to Murrys for years but sometimes due to busy lives, there can be quite awhile between visits there! The thing about Murrys is it is ALWAYS consistently fun and the food is always consistently delicious! You always see someone you know,...it is like the friendly neighborhood bar/restaurant!!More

Food is well prepared and served hot. The three us had dinner. My stepdaughter had the Murry's special salad and gave it an A+. My husband and I had the tenderloin sandwiches which were excellent as well. We also had an order of rings which...came hot and crispy. Very happy. An issue however is the fact I am wearing a large boot on my foot. We were seated upstairs and I had to manage going up and down stairs without a handle on the side of the stairs. I noticed other people side stepping down the stairs. I was very fearful of falling as I had nothing to hold onto. I think a handle bar should be put on one side of stairs.More

I had my first date almost 29 years ago and although I haven’t been to Murray’s for over 10 years it did not disappoint! I haven’t lived near Columbia for decades, but chose to stop here reminiscing of the past. The green pepper rings never...disappoint and although I love the wings I chose calamari instead. The batter is crispy and they serve with a mayo based dip instead of pasta sauce. The Murray’s and Greek salad were both great! The hands down best surprise of the meal was the double pork sandwich. I did not order it (another person in our party did), but will the next time I’m there. It was juicy, smoky and reminded me of a great pork steak fresh off the grill. The beer selection is at equal status to the wine selection. There was a wait throughout the night (Wednesday), but moved quickly. Highly recommend this place and they haven’t missed a step even after all these years!More

Food was very good and portions were large. We tried the onion rings & fried bell peppers for appetizers. Both were out of this world, then we split a garden salad (more than enough for both of us.) We both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich...and took half home. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff were very organized, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Plus - they watched out for their co-workers' tables needing refills. We were very impressed all around! With a beer apiece and tip, the total bill was $50.More
