Came here with niece for lunch. Good crowd and could find a table. Ordered at counter with a friendly face! Food was good but place needs a good sprucing up. Seemed dingy.

We ordered the two different types of quiche that were offered and the ingredients that were supposed to have been in them were lacking. The filling was rubbery and tasteless. Greens came with the order and they were good. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing on the menu, but it was very misleading and disappointing. The coffee was good but... More
This is a small bakery/bar that shares a building with the Ragtag Theater. They serve delicious sandwiches, soup, and desserts. They bake the bread, cookies, bagels, etc. on premises. You order and pay for your food/drinks at the counter, then go pick it up when they call your name. There is a full bar and someone we talked to at... More
This place tends to have seasonal foods and the prices are not too high. Like the soups. Can get beer, tea and coffee with your meals.
This is a local gem for my husband and I. The coffee is good and strong. They have an assortment of pastries, including outstanding croissants (the best I've found outside of France), fresh biscuit sandwiches made with Patchwork Pork local sausage, as well as omelettes, vegetarian options and my husband's favorite, biscuits and gravy. This is a counter-service bakery that... More
Uprise is a coffee/pastry type place in the mornings, a deli around the noon hour, and wine bar in the afternoon. It also doubles as the foyer of the adjacent co-owned RagTag Theatre at movie time, when patrons may order wine or popcorn as the mood strikes. In non-busy hours this is a popular place for people to plop their... More

We walked from college and just happened upon it. The service was very friendly and helpful. There was not a large variety of pastries but what they had looked good. The... More
The best bread in town and the most variety. Outside dining available. Great staff, wonderful place for lunch or to get a bite before the movies.
I love this place. Plenty of seating, service is good and the food is great. My favorite is the potato knish. This place also has a bar and a movie theater.
