This is a lovely diner on the corner of 6th and Broadway, downtown. But if you want your hashbrowns crispy - they CHARGE YOU EXTRA. Ludicrous! Never going again.

Always have the same thing and it is always good. Consistent taste and friendly wait staff. Lots of room for lots of people. Seems to be a hang out for those hung over college students.

One of the most popular local establishments for breakfast (and lunch). Diner has a nice, old school ambience. This is a bacon and eggs sort of place and does traditional breakfasts very well.

Although I have lived in Columbia for 12 years, I have never been to Lucy's. I do like a well cooked breakfast. So, today was the day. The wife and I gotthere shortly after 7am. Service was excellent. I had the meat lover's omlet; my wife had the french toast and scrabled eggs with sausage patty. The food came out... More

We have breakfast here every time we visit Columbia. How can you not love a great scrambled eggs with bacon & hash browns breakfast. Tho sometimes there's a little wait we've always been happy with our food. Definitely will be back.

Decided to try Lucy's again for breakfast as I had not been there in years. It's your typical greasy diner, which is not a bad thing as sometimes that is what I'm in the mood for. Prices were really low. Service was ok. Food was below average. There are a ton of other places to go for breakfast in Columbia.... More

Quick synopsis of our TWO-AND-A-HALF-HOUR breakfast last Sunday: = One hour waiting outside for a table (not awful since we knew the place is popular and it was a nice morning). = 15 minutes after being seated until a waitress took our order. During that time, she did rush past us several times, occasionally shouting "I'll be right there." (Starting... More

This place has tasty food and super size pancakes! When I first walked in, I wanted to leave and go somewhere else because the place needs updating. My husband talked me into staying and I'm glad we did. The floor is worn and the chairs all have torn covers with exposed foam. Just try not to look around. The seating... More

Wouldn't think of going anywhere else for breakfast. Down home, loud, friendly, plus the food is what I'm used to: eggs, eggs, and more eggs, plus the best bacon, toast, etc. If you're a four-star elitist, might want to find some hotel (though not in Columbia). If you want great food, go to Lucy's.
