We shared a small dish of calamari and it was nicely fried without it being too greasy. It was cooked just right. We also shared the paella which was quite heavy and filled us up. I thought it was quite spicy but my wife thought...it was not. Definitely book online since it was crowded on a Saturday night.More

We wanted a quick bite and a moment to regroup after a college tour. Frank and his eclectic crew at this hidden gem were a treat. They were very welcoming. The food was very intriguing, and the sangria added a nice finish. Even left with...a job offer for my child during college. Definitely a fun place and great food. Will make this a permanent stop.More

We first ordered the cauliflower.... it was DELICIOUS!! WE GOT THE WINGS, Gazpacho. And no doubt good, but not mind blowing good....but good. The atmosphere was very disappointing....hip hop music.... felt like club music. Didn't fit what we were looking for at all...... however, for...young people.... could be a great find. Surprised it was in Clayton.More

Although the menu selection was good, found the food to be generally of average quality; ordered a variety of meat, seafood, vegetable and potato dishes. Most disappointing, they were "out" of beef empenadas - early on a Friday night. The beef tenderloin was obviously a sirloin...cut, tough and unacceptable at $7.75. Looks like a lively after work bar scene, with tapas as snacks it's probably fine, but not recommended for dinner. Noisy, with hardwood floors. Service was good. About $100 with tip for two with two drinks each.More

Since we had recently been to Barcelona, Spain, when we saw this retaurant listed, we naturally were interested. When we arrived, the weather was beautiful so we sat outside. It took a while for a server to take our order. We ordered the Paella Valenciana...(saffron rice, chicken, pork chorizo, mussels, shrimp) but after a very long wait the server brought us Paella Mariscos (saffron rice, mussels, shrimp, squid, scallops, salmon). We pointed out the switch and the server shook his head, told us the kitchen messed up, and took it away. Another long wait for the food we actually had ordered. It was ok though not authentic. No apology. No courtesy appetizer or any other acknowledgement of the extraordinary delay. As far as we could tell, we were the only patrons while there.More

Very enjoyable evening dining at BARcelona last night. Outdoor table, with good service. Nice flavors including a Moroccan lamb stew, chorizo, bacalao, and fried artichokes. Good all-Spanish wine selection. Also a nice cocktail list with some Spanish ingredients. Can get a bit noisy inside, so...would definitely recommend outdoor seating if the weather permits.More

Sunday evening. Got a fine greeting and great table. Ordered a drink special (Dark & Strormy) waited awhile and no drink showed up. Wait staff finally showed back up. No Ginger beer in the house and had even run next door to see if they...had any. No luck. Ordered a glass of wine, but no wine showed up. Wait staff came close, so asked about wine. Bartender showed up next and said he had mistakenly torn up ticket. Gave me a glass of wine on the house. Not the wine I ordered because they were out of it also. Wine i did get was fine. Had Beef Empanadas, Beet salad, Lamb Stew and Bread Pudding. All were excellent. I would speculate that: 1. We had a very inexperienced not so well trained waitress and 2. Someone in charge is not watching over things at the bar or in general.More

I walked here from our hotel. So glad I stumbled into it. All my family was at the game, so I was able to try new foods. I got their warm goat cheese/tomato sauce/garlic bread (I don't rembr the name of it) and their croquetas....Which was chicken and ham and served with a cumin aioli. I had the sauce on the side since I was unsure about it. But I really liked it alot too.More

Always great food here! It was New Year’s Eve and everyone was happy. The service is good and people are friendly. The dessert portion needs to be bigger for the tres leches, but that may have been the NYE portion.

The Paella was quite good, although a bit soggy. They need to fix the Sangria. At $7.50, it was served in a small glass with half of it ice. By the time I was halfway through, I could only tasted water. The ambiance was good...and service was very good. We also tried the Cauliflower and mushroom tapas. They were well-prepared andMore

Casual tapas place in downtown Clayton. We were almost their only customers on a Sunday afternoon, so we had a chance to chat with the friendly staff. They recommended with goat cheese and homemade bread, which was delicious. We also enjoyed the ham and cheese...croquettes and the sardines. Would definitely return!More

we enjoyed multiple small plates at Barcelona, everything was delicious. The service was excellent, the one downside to Barcelona is that it is very noisy.

We enjoyed multiple small bites at BARcelona. For three of us, we ordered 5 dishes and it was perfect. Everything we ordered was very tasty. The mushrooms, meatballs, chicken/ham croquettes and two potato dishes. We had the tres leches for dessert. The service was awesome....Super friendly and our food was in front of us in about 2 minutes! Definitely worth a visit.More

We were looking forward to eating tapas with our daughter and her boyfriend and catching up as we are from out of town. We had reservations but even so the dining area was full so we were seated at a high top table near the...bar by a walkway. It was quite loud. We asked to be moved and got another high top table by the window but it was not any better. We had to leave before ordering. It was so loud, we couldn’t have a conversation. Even talking to the waitress meant yelling. We’ve heard the food is very good so it was very disappointing. The manager or whoever asked why we were leaving and seemed perplexed. Ambiance. Fortunately we were able to walk to a nearby place with great food and where we could actually converse with ease. The rating is based on ambiance and not food obviously, but we feel that a warning to unsuspecting out of town patrons is warranted.More

Even though it was hot and humid, we opted to sit outside because the music was so loud and really obnoxious. Now granted it was Labor Day, but the food was so so. The empanadas pastry was a rather tough. The cauliflower was good as...were the roasted potatoes. The chickpeas were a bit too heavy on the garlic. The sangria was the most disappointing I have ever had. There was barely any fruit in it and it was pretty weak flavored. The hot chocolate tasted like Swiss Miss mix, skip it.More
