Wonderful fish house with delicious food. The frog legs were juicy and perfectly fried, maybe the bedt in the area; the walleye as tasty as advertised. Great atmosphere with lots of fish memorabilia decor.

The Yellowstone was suggested by the Marriott, if we liked Walleye. This was a 5 star recommendation. The Walleye was every bit as good as what you get in Minnesota. The sides were great as was the service.

The good: The food was excellent The service: Horrible. Server never came to the table once food was served . The Bill: They charge an “up charge” if you use a credit card. It is in very teeny tiny type on the back of the...menu, very deceptive. They give you a discount if you pay cash. So they are really not giving you a discount, they are charging you more for use of a credit card. Have never seen that before at a restaurant. They must have had a bad year cause of Covid.More

The default for their walleye is breaded and deep fried. I ordered from the special card, which said nothing about deep frying, and the waiter did not ask how I wanted it prepared. It would have been nice to have been asked. The salad is...was a very ordinary iceberg lettuce, and the slaw was a typical creamy slaw with too much sauce. Other than not asking how I wanted the fish cooked, the service was quick and friendly.More

Excellent atmosphere and service. The shore lunch was outstanding and the roasted pepper and Gouda soup, not to mention the thunderbird chicken. We will return soon! Destination restaurant!

Early lunch on Thursday. We were greeted and seated promptly. COVID-19 protocols were being followed. Our server was super friendly. Drinks came quickly and the food arrived in short order. They graciously provided a bun so I could make my appetizer crab cakes into a...sandwich. Crab cakes were some of the best I’ve ever had, full of lump crabmeat and not a lot of filler. The walleye sandwich was perfectly fried and seasoned well. Sadly the lobster rangoons were not so good, the heavy wonton wrappers completely overpowered the lobster filling which was too bad because it was tasty.More

I don't eat fried fish often but to get fried walleye in St. Louis is a treat. It was lightly breaded and seasoned properly. I got the sandwich portion for dinner that came with one side. This portion was a fillet about 10 inches long...and 3 to 4 inches wide. I skipped the bun. One person at the table got frog legs and thoroughly enjoyed them. The rest of the party all had fried walleye.More

We have been here twice in the last month, once for lunch, once for dinner. My husband and son love the decor---fish and fishing stuff everywhere. Only place around here that I know of that serves Walleye. It is delicious and they don't skimp on...portions. I also tried their steak sandwich which was a special of the day and it was also delicious. They had a soup of the day that was very, very good----red pepper Gouda, The Gumbo was lovely and a bit spicy. Their crab cakes are chock full of crab. On both occasions we had great service. Becca, the day server was outstanding. Can't remember the name of dinner server, but she was good as well. Wine prices are very reasonable. A most enjoyable place.More

It was a great place where friends of 50 years could meet. We're all fisherman and have been fishing together for 30. So, What's better that that ? Had a great time visiting and eating ! What more could we ask for ?

Stopped in with a client who is a regular at Yellowstone. He recommended the fried walleye platter, but instead I ordered the Thunderbird Chicken which was really good. He gave me a piece of that walleye, and even though that chicken sandwich was delicious, I’m...getting that walleye next time! The drinks were cold, atmosphere friendly and our server took good care of us. I’ll be back!More
