Christmas Eve dinner

The food from start to finish was fresh and yummy. The service was fine. Prices are reasonable for what you get. We had the 4 course dinner and it was fabulous. The Alpine traditional fondue is our favorite. The salads were fresh and nicely presented....The dinner with lobster, shrimp, chicken, salmon and steak was wonderful. We hadn’t been to a Melting Pot for over 5 years (last went in Florida), so it was nice to return on Christmas Eve in St Louis for a great, memorable time.More

Ruined my birthday

I was so excited to go to the melting pot. Drove 1\2 hour to get there made a reservation a month in advance. We arrived early for our reservation and were told we had to wait. We waited 10 minutes. We were seated at a...Very tiny table. The walls were covered with nasty food and streaks. We waited 10 minutes and another couple was seated next to us. A waiter showed up for them and took their order. We waited another 15 minutes still looking at the gross wall. our waitress finally showed up. By this point we lost our appetite and got up and left. never will go back.. Over priced, really poor service! They honestly ruined my birthday.More

Horrific experience

We had a horrific experience and will never return again. It took way too long to seat us, even with a reservation. It took forever for a server to greet us. When we ordered our drinks, the server waited 5-10 minutes to come back to...ask questions about the drinks we had ordered. We ordered our fondue at this time as well. Then, 5-10 more minutes later, another person, perhaps a manager, advises that they were out of the champagne we had ordered. We switched it to another instead. About 10-15 more minutes went by before we started becoming frustrated. Additionally, I had ordered chocolate covered strawberries as a surprise for my wife to arrive as soon as we sat, however those never arrived. In the end, we just walked out after nobody ever came back to us. It was a horrible end to our date night out. In addition, the ambience feels dated and not very contemporary. All in all, I'd recommend steering clear and trying somewhere else entirely.More

Father’s Day Dinner

Our girls (22 & 17) chose The Melting Pot for Father’s Day Dinner. This is one of our favorite places to go for celebration meals. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Dad received a list of dad jokes and a free beer of his choice....That was a nice surprise. The food was as wonderful as it normally is however, the service was off. Our waiter was pleasant but disappeared for extended periods of time (kicking myself because I can’t remember his name). It took forever between courses and my husband and I ordered mixed drinks and we were finished with our main course before they came. There was plenty of staff buzzing around the restaurant they didn’t appear to be short staffed. A dinner here normally takes between 1.5 and 2 hours. We walked out of the building 3 hours and 5 minutes after we arrived. We’ll go back, like I said it is one of our favorite places. If we get the same waiter again though we will ask to be moved.More

Loved it.

So this was my first visit to The Melting Pot. I really enjoyed myself. We had reservations but we were early. We were still seated right away. Our server (Emma?) explained the menu and gave us some great tips that maximized our experience. While walking...to the bathroom I almost knocked over some poor server who I think was named Jamar who actually apologized to me. Throughout our meal our server was attentive without being intrusive. The manager checked on our service and how we enjoyed our meal. Based on my experience I would recommend to any of my friends or family that they try both the melting pot and particularly this location.More

Anniversary Dinner

This was our first time to the Melting Pot. Got in very close to our reservation time. Our waiter Lucy was very sweet. Drinks good. 4 course meal was amazing! At first it felt like we there wasn't much to eat one, but once we...got to the chocolate, after a few bites I was BEYOND full, lol. Great overall experience! Plan for at least 2 hours.More

Melting Pot To Go

A fantastic option to enjoy at home. A quick online order process allows you to select day and time you want to pickup your order. I surprised my wife for a nice Halloween dinner in. I prepared my own meat option to make a full...four course meal with Town and Country Melting Pot Wisconsin cheddar fondue & bread/veggies, salads, and Flaming Turtle chocolate & dessert dippers. Oh so good. They provide instructions to reheat in microwave or stovetop. I chose the microwave to reheat and it worked just fine. Will definitely order again.More

The Melting Pot

Dinner with friends.

I absolutely loved it. I didn't know what to expect and had never been to one. The food was great and it was fun. I look forward to going there again.
