This is a great restaurant in Cape Girardeau. If you like cajun food you will enjoy dining out in the great atmosphere. Plus, if you are a fan of crab legs like me, there's are some of the best on the appetizer portion of the menu.

My family and I really enjoyed our one "big" meal during our visit to Cape Girardeau. Trip Advisor reviews led me to suggest this restaurant to my husband and in-laws, and I'm glad! We all enjoyed the catfish and ordered some etouffee for the side. I also thought the grilled chicken was well-seasoned. Not to mention the salad sides were... More

Since they remodeled it is now a place to go when downtown. Much nicer and cleaner. Great staff and food. Must park on street or around the corner, but worth the walk.

Had out-of-town friends for lunch. Love the new space. And the etouffee was great as always. Good friends, good food, cold beers. Couldn't be better! Thanks!

I love food that's extra spicy and am always adding extra seasoning. Not so with the shrimp at Broussards. For me it was seasoned just right, which doesn't happen often. I had the Beale Street Steak (with mushrooms and onions) during my most recent visit, which was perfect, and one thing to keep in mind if you order a salad... More

This was our second trip to Broussard's and they moved, I actually liked the old building better more character. Had the fried gator and crawfish etouffee and it was great. There fired gator is some of the best I have ate, and I've probably had it at 10 different places. Service was also very good.

Broussard's is everything the reviews said it would be. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and efficient - attentive, but not hovering. The food was great and, as I said before, the serving sizes were such that we likely took 1/2 of our servings home in take out containers. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Broussard's recently moved into a Non-Smoking building, which makes this one of the more favorable places to dine. Very accomodating to large as well as small groups. Food is delicious. Some may say it's a little too spicy, but if you like cajun cooking then spicy is what you get. Their cajun catfish and popcorn crawfish tails are a must... More

We visited this restaurant primarily because it was rated the number one restaurant in Cape Girardeau, and the menu looked good. We were not disappointed. The food and service are amazing!! We ordered the Cajun Nachos, Chicken Etoufee (sp), and the Shrimp Creole. All were fantastic. The portions were huge. We actually could have just ordered the nachos for dinner.... More

Food is great! We had a short wait for a busy day, many families were out for Father's Day. Catfish is excellent, blackened steaks are great as well. Shrimp Creole and Crawfish Ettouffe combo were great. Alligator is another great meal. Parking for restaurant is along the street, however there are parking lots close as well for parking. The picture... More
