Good food!

This hotel was recommended by the hotel (Crowne Plaza)we recently stayed at. It did not disappoint! I loved my meal of shrimp scampi! Healthy portions and my boyfriend had the chicken dish and it was great too! I am so glad we stopped in and will be back again for sure. Our waitress was so nice and... read more

Save yourself the time and aggravation. When I walked into this place I felt like I was thrown back to the cheap 1970's with the plastic flower arrangements and the padded vinyl table cloths. It was so dark I felt like it was a ploy to keep you from noticing how dirty the place was. But I had heard some... More

Massa's was recommended by the hotel I was staying at so I was thinking, sure, it's just a kickback scheme, but no, Massa's was great. Everyone's meals were great, they even made a special vegan pasta dish for me. The prices are very reasonable. i will definitely go there again.

The silverware (which was missing until I snagged some from another table) was dirty. Hard to tell, though, since the place is dimly lit so give yours a good look if you go. The Cesar salad I got was swimming in dressing. I ordered a pizza and while the crust was very good, I swear there was cheese whiz on... More

I've worked in this general vicinity for 26 years and have heard good things about Massa's, but this was my first visit, and I know I'll be going back. The building appears to be an old frame-style house which has been converted. Inside the decor is dark and subdued, old-fashioned 'Romantic'. My server was friendly and attentive but not hovering.... This hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant will completely surprise you. It is tiny, the exterior looks like an old post-WWII frame house. Inside, it is really dark and cramped. When you walk in, you are smack dab in the middle of the dining area, leading first time guests to believe they've entered through a back entrance (you haven't). But the service is... More

Best pasta in St. Louis. Much more affordable than the Hill. Not over-priced and it definitely fills you up. I had the Cajun pasta and it was cooked to perfection. One of the last, true neighborhood joints left in the St. Louis area. Service is great & every employee is tremendously nice.

Some of the top pizza in St. Louis!!! A classic St. Louis style pizza. Top 5 in STL!!! Awesome homemade house dressing, needs to be bottled and in the grocery store for sale.

Our volunteer float group held a "project review" dinner at Massa's South Outer 40 in Chesterfield. The food and service were top notch! Best Italian Food I had ever had. The decor is "extreme eclectic"!!

Very dark and old. Would not want to see it in they daylight. Food was little less than average. Ordered pasta with their version of Bolognese sauce which contained raw green peppers. Not good. Service was fine. Will not go back.
