This property is conveniently located a short walk form the Hilton Branson Convention Center where we were staying. Had dinner on this visit. Had a reservation this night but had to wait as they were busy which is good considering the current climate. Our chips...and salsa were always full throughout our meal. I had their chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans. One of my favorites and tasty. We had to have dessert of course so we ordered the Mexican Apple Pie, Mexican Tres Leches Cake and Mexican Chocolate Brownies. Really like the brownie and apple pie. Very nice meal and good company. Also, this restaurant is located right on the banks for the White River which is beautiful at night.More

WE stopped for lunch and I was super disappointed because it was too cold to sit outside on the patio...but once we got our food while sitting inside I was a happy camper. Excellent salsa/chips and the most flavorful carnita bowl I've ever had. My...husband enjoyed his tacos complete with sliced avocado. Definitely a must eat place while in Branson.More

My wife and I ate lunch here on a Monday and we really enjoyed it. It was pretty busy but we were seated immediately. The chips were fresh and the salsa had a roasted flavor which I really liked. I ordered a canitas bowl which...was layers of rice, beans, carnitas, etc. It was very tasty. My wife ordered tacos and she said they were very fresh tasting. Be aware that they have a limited menu at the moment - maybe due to covid. We would like to return after covid is over to see what other menu items are available.More

With some time to kill prior to boarding The Polar Express located across from Branson Landing, we stopped in for a quick drink and to kill some wait time. We ordered margaritas on the rocks with salt and were seated at the bar. Domenic was...our attentive and personable bartender. The window views overlooked the river and the Branson Landing fountain display so a pleasant experience and environment to enjoy. We had finished lunch prior to arrival and thus did not order any food, but we were offered nachos and sauce to accompany our margaritas which were satisfying and good. The restaurant is nicely laid out with great views and drinks, can't review the food, but the nachos were wonderful as was the dipping sauce.More

We tried this restaurant while visiting Branson. We were optimistic when the chips cam out hot and the salsa was quite good! That turned out to be the best part of the meal. We had the combination fajitas. The beef fajitas were ok, but were...lacking in flavor overall - almost as if they had no seasoning added. Same for the chicken fajitas. Tasted like sliced chicken breast on a store bought flour tortilla (after asking for corn - which we DID get after bringing this to the waiters attention). The onions and peppers that came with the fajitas were ok, but would have been better if cooked a bit longer until they start to carmalize. The rice and beans also lacked flavor as well. THe rice was done through, as were the beans. The beans did have a hint of spice in them, but was lacking in flavor overall. Overall, not a good Mexican restaurant that I would recommend.More

Had lunch here strictly because of the high ratings. The Top Shelf Guacamole was indeed top shelf! Freshly prepared at the table and quickly consumed on the light, warm tortilla chips! I had the Veracruz Enchiladas based on the server's recommendation. I substituted queso sauce...for the tomatillo sauce. It was good however the pulled chicken lacked seasoning/flavor. The marinated veggies on top made up for it. No clue what they were. Looked/tasted like tangy, chopped red cabbage. I didn't enjoy the tortilla strips on top. Made for hard/messy eating. The black beans were cooked down, which I prefer, and the rice was good but nothing special. Hubby had the Carne Asada Fajita burrito and said it was good although the meat was a little on the tough side. Daughter had the steak quesadilla and said the steak was a little tough as well, but tasty. Salsa was on the tangy side like tomatilla but was very good.More

From the moment we walked in the door the host and the server and everyone we came in contact with, except for the gal who gave us our free chips and salsa, were short with us, rude, and unprofessional. We will never eat here again.

We have been to many Mexican restaurants throughout the country, but this visit at Cantina Laredo was truly exceptional. We had one of the best servers wait on us "hand n' foot" as we were provided with appetizers, multiple salsas, freshly prepared guacamole at the...table, and outstanding entrées. Highly recommend this establishment and ask for Roberto.More

We are from Texas and use to great mexican food. This ranked right up with the best places in Houston to eat. Even though it was cold, we sat on the patio and had a great view of the Brandson Landing water/fire show. Would definitely...eat here again.More

There is ample parking by the Bass Pro Shop and the restaurant is about halfway down the string of shops. You can enjoy going through Bass Pro or walk to the right on the river side and get to Cantina is about 5 minutes or... More
