This place gives the feel of an old fashioned diner. The singers are very good, and the place is nostalgic, but the food is average.

If you loved the 1950's and 1960's era, Mel's Hard Luck Diner is definitely a place you will enjoy dining and enjoying the great music of that era. We enjoyed Root Beer Floats, Cream of Potato Soup, delicious hamburgers, too. While dining we were entertained by very talented singers, who all should be performing professionally in their fields due to... More

This is a great place, not just for the food, although it is good and milkshakes are great, but for the singing waiters and waitresses. There was some awesome singers there. At there twice for lunch and next time in town will go back.

So fun to hear waiters/waitresses singing as they work. Very talented group! It did get pretty loud when the staff was performing but quieted 'some' between numbers. Well worth the experience, the burgers & fries were good. Glad I got to go.

We ate here and it was such a fun experience! The waiters and waitresses all sang and were very talented! The food was delicious and the kids drinks were humongous! They also have a really neat gift shop. I would definitely come back!

The servers all sing. They each have their special songs. They are efficient servers and good singers. The food is good. The lunch menu is a typical American menu....club sandwiches, burgers, etc. Prices are reasonable.

Bunches of good food but you pay for it. A bit loud but fun. Throwback to days gone by. Singing waiters/waitresses.

Mel's Hard Luck Diner has both good food and good entertainment. The wait staff are singers and sing while serving. There is also a good shopping area in the mall Mel's is located in.

Great diner with singing waitresses. What a novel idea. How can you not be entertained with great voices singing to you every few minutes! The food was great too. Be sure and have the malt!! Fantastic!

This is a really cool restaurant. The wait staff sing to you as they work. The food is a tad pricey, but I think it is because you get free entertainment. I think it is worth the visit!

Thank Rita S
