We went here for Dinner on a Monday night. We were able to get right in. The servers are so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The fries are crunchy and salty. Just perfect diner style fries. The best part is the servers sing as they wait on you and move about the diner. So much fun. And they... More

We have visited Mel's several times in the past 10 years and were never disappointed until this last visit. We ordered Ruben sandwiches and they were very skimpy. We probably won't go back.

Prepare to be entertained by waiters singing solos or duets between serving guests at this fun casual diner. Our waitress, Alana, was very talented as she belted out Disney tunes to opera. I hope she fulfills her dreams as a singer! The singers advertise their CDs. The food featured typical diner food, which was average from the chicken fried steak... More

The waiters and waitresses in this nostalgic restaurant literally sing as they are serving you. Many of them have appeared on America's Got Talent and they are all wonderful musicians. The food is good, as well, and they have delicious burgers and shakes. A really fun place to take the family.

This was our second time to visit this Diner. We enjoyed delicious All American meals while being serenaded by vocally talented servers. The milkshakes are especially yummy , and the gift shop has a variety cute memorabilia as well as CDs of the various singers.

This place gives the feel of an old fashioned diner. The singers are very good, and the place is nostalgic, but the food is average.

If you loved the 1950's and 1960's era, Mel's Hard Luck Diner is definitely a place you will enjoy dining and enjoying the great music of that era. We enjoyed Root Beer Floats, Cream of Potato Soup, delicious hamburgers, too. While dining we were entertained by very talented singers, who all should be performing professionally in their fields due to... More

This is a great place, not just for the food, although it is good and milkshakes are great, but for the singing waiters and waitresses. There was some awesome singers there. At there twice for lunch and next time in town will go back.

So fun to hear waiters/waitresses singing as they work. Very talented group! It did get pretty loud when the staff was performing but quieted 'some' between numbers. Well worth the experience, the burgers & fries were good. Glad I got to go.

We ate here and it was such a fun experience! The waiters and waitresses all sang and were very talented! The food was delicious and the kids drinks were humongous! They also have a really neat gift shop. I would definitely come back!

Thank Elleah D
