We chose Mel's because we had heard of the singing waiters and waitresses. We had already eaten lunch but stopped in for shakes (banana for him and pineapple for me). They were great! We were greeted promptly when we arrived. Our waitress, Kimberly S, was...More

Food was blah. Looked like the burger was preformed frozen. Had a singer forget the words to a song. Only plus was veteran discount.More

Hi Timothy. This is Mel, owner of the diner. I receive a daily list of all reviews from Trip Advisor, Yelp, Facebook, etc. This one had all 4s and 5s, except for yours. Others rated the food "very good" and "excellent". My diner team works...More

While it can be a little hard to find, the search is well worth it. This gem is filled with good people who can sing their hearts out. Some have been there for twenty years, most if not all of them have recorded their gifts...More

The food was good diner fare and felt like a traditional 'Route 66' style diner. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere. The singing servers were very talented and had a very diverse collection of songs.

The restaurant is 50s themed. They have a variety of food. We had the red beans & rice with sausage and a cinnamon raisin bread toast with chunky peanut butter, bananas, & caramel. It was delicious. They servers sing songs and still continue to serve....More

Fun place for ice cream, a burger and fries when your waitress picks up the mic and begins singing while you are served. The service is extremely fast with friendly smiles and great entertainment. Loved the Hawaiian burger!

Dinner here with friends. Roaming singers of all genres of music, Friday when we visited we got Elvis and gospel. Food was unfortunately just pretty average. Chicken fried Steak was a Pre made Patty with instant mash potatoes and a veggie. Someone in our group...More

Mel's is the most unique restaurant we have been to. The servings are pretty large and the food is good but the atmosphere is filled with a lot of history and the servers are also very talented. We enjoyed all the birthday celebrations and how...More

Good food and fast service. Plus it's free entertainment. However it is awkward how they try to sell you CDs of themselves in their gift shop. Otherwise it's pretty good. However I was disappointed that the mashed potatoes were instant potatoes.

Home of Branson's original singing servers. A 50s themed diner offering music from the decades of the 50s and 60s and on up to today. A variety of singing styles, pop, rock, showtunes, opera, gospel, country, etc. Food offerings include burgers, sandwiches, great salads, blue plate specials and save room for some of the best and biggest desserts to be found.
