Our meal was very good of hamburgers and all the fixings. There was also a woman singing oldies while we were eating. Fun place.

Was looking for a place for a quick lunch with the family. Stopped in and was greatly surprised, heard music and thought a jukebox was playing..turned out to be live entertainment by a man named Mario..he was extremely talented, interacted with the crowd and did various entertainers from Elvis to BJ Thomas, to Sinatra..sounded like all of them. lunch was... After a hot day or just stopping for lunch this is a great place to eat a meal or sit back listen to the free music and enjoy a good old fashion handmade milkshake.

We came in for dinner. We were seated quickly and greated nicely. Service was a bit slow but the food was good and reasonably priced so it was worth it. The kids enjoyed listening to the George Strait impersonator. Extensive kids menu as well.

When we arrived at Uptown cafe couldn't help in noticing a older Taxi sitting in front. It was a nice touch to stage the theme of the cafe. It is decorated in Fifties time period meets country. The staff were very in helping us in regards to the buffet that was being served. As we enjoying our breakfast there was... More

Went in for ice cream for a desert snack in the evening. We were the only table seated in there and it still took over 20 min to get 4 ice cream sundaes. For $6 a sundae it should be a good size but it wasn't much bigger than a McDonalds sundae. The ice cream was good but just pricy... More

Went late for dinner after a show. This is one of a few restaurants that are open late after shows. I had the burger and it was great. Also had a chocolate shake and it was excellent. Pretty cool that we could hear (but not see) the George Strait impersonator in the next room. I really enjoyed that with my... More

Went with the family for dinner. Seated within 5 minutes and the waitress told us "Well you came at the dinner theater time so there will be a wait." Didn't expect it to be an hour for our food. Hamburgers were so-so. Kids menu is overpriced and al a carte. Didn't expect the fruit to be canned fruit cocktail. Don't... More

Stopped here for breakfast and got a wonderful surprise. The breakfast buffet was only $6.99, plus juice or coffee, which was still a good deal and the food was good. Another surprise. The real surprise was the free live entertainment while you ate! First a female singer and then a gentleman singer with guitar, and both were very good. The... More
