Steamy Joe was convenient as we were staying at the Bradford and received a 20% discount. We were expecting something awesome because of past reviews; however, the whole experience was just average. The people are VERY friendly, and we enjoyed the Christian music playing in the background. We arrived around 8:30 and had 3 families ahead of us in line to order. When we were leaving, we stopped to purchase a cookie to take with us. As we got in line, probably at least 20-25 people came in the door and were in line behind us. We were thankful we got there early. My husband had the stuffed hashbrowns and said they could have used more cheese and meat. I had a egg/bacon/cheese sandwich in an English muffin. The muffin was not toasted as I had expected. The seconed day my husband had biscuits and gravy, and again the biscuits were not toasted, gravy was average. I had a cinnamon roll that was a little dry, but I went back and had them heat it which helped some. The chocolate chip cookie was good. Blueberry muffins were average. Overall, the place is convenient if you are staying at the Bradford, people are super friendly, atmosphere is nice. It would help if they could have 2 registers for ordering so you don't have to wait in line as long to order.

We didn’t get the chance to eat a meal here but pre-ordered, picked up and ate 8 of their pies in a week. 10 people in our group, including 1 type 1 diabetic. BEST coconut cream pie EVER, and it was sugar free! Could not tell! Also had cherry, strawberry, sugar free apple and some kind of cream cheese pecan that I was told was great but I didn’t personally try. They’re not cheap but worth every penny. WOW!

Steamy Joe Cafe is such a delightful place for breakfast or lunch with a beautiful view. The cinnamon french toast was delicious as was the breakfast sandwich on a croissant. This had to be the top place we’ve ate at since visiting Branson.

Nice folks at this place and it had pretty good reviews. I go to Branson a lot and had heard of this place but thought we’d give it a try. I was not aware that this is not a regular sit down restaurant. You go up place your order and get a buzzer to get it. We got a variety of options things cinnamon rolls were great, either made on its own or as French toast. Their problem is whoever is cooking their eggs needs to be taught how to cook eggs. My grandson ordered the kids breakfast which included scrambled eggs. Their food reminds me of when u stay at a chain hotel that gives free breakfast. Their food is just warmed up. Now he’s 7 and loves eggs, when the food came I noticed right off the bat his were way overcooked, crusty and brown. He ate about two bites and stopped. I asked if he wasn’t hungry he said grandma these eggs don’t tasted good I’ll eat my pancake. Now I ordered the eggs Benedict, the eggs were fried not poached ok no big deal but I also noticed that my eggs were also brown and crispy around the edges. Of course the yolk was hard fried which it shouldn’t be I did not ask it to be cooked that way I did however enjoy the cinnamon roll. Normally I would have sent this back but we were leaving town and were in a hurry. Just get someone in there who knows how to cook eggs needs that’s all you need. Great little place otherwise.

We appreciate your feedback, and really wish you would have mentioned something. We would have re-cooked it immediately. Our food is cooked to order and not warmed up. We do get busy on the weekends. We are always working to make things better, and your feedback is helpful. It is difficult with cook-to-order because some like their scrambled eggs well done and others like them not quite as done. Just know that we want to meet customer expectations always. If your food doesn't meet your expectation, then we're going to take care of that. Our eggs benedict is more of a steamed egg versus a poached egg, and customers do love it. It sounds like we got your eggs bene eggs a bit too done. We apologize for that. I do hope you'll give us another try! And, ask for Kailey, Todd, or Stacy the next time you visit. We'll want to make sure your food is perfect!

The outside of this establishment is very charming and inviting. Once in the door it's really hard to know what's going on. Loads of people standing in a loosely formed line. We didn't know if they were waiting to put their name in for a table, in line to pay or in line for a to go order. Finally was able to get the 'low down' and found out that you order just like in a fast food restaurnat and then go find a table and go up to another counter on the opposite side to pick up your food once your 'pager' goes off. We opted to take a menu, go sit at a table to decide what we all wanted and then just two of us went back up to order for our family. We were told that they don't have servers but they did have workers going around offering more coffee and water. The actual food for the most part was just so-so; however, the gravy on the biscuits was so salty, tasted what I imagine brine to taste like. The two people in our family that ordered biscuits w/gravy were unable to eat all of their food. As we were standing in line to order there was a showcase with muffins and cinnamon rolls which looked very good, although none of our table ordered sweet entrees. The people working there seemed very friendly. We spent over $60 for 3 adults and 2 children. I really did expect more. We usually visit Branson several times a year but we will probably choose to eat breakfast elsewhere in the future.

We were a party of 6 with 3 children. We went on a busy Sunday. We knew there would be a wait. We were told it would be a 15 to 20 min wait so we added our name to the list. After 40 min, we asked how much longer and we were told “not much longer”. We were still waiting when the male host started asking people who arrived after us if they wanted to sit outside. We went up to talked to the host. I told him we have been waiting over an hour and why weren’t we offered those tables? He told us to be nice and that he was having a bad day and lot of big parties. If we hadn’t been lied to, we wouldn’t have been upset. We even heard him tell a group that came after us that it would be soon and that nobody had waited longer than 20 minutes. Another lie!! After speaking to this family, they were told the same time of 15 to 20 minutes. After we finally got a table outside, we were told we had to go inside to a line (where we would have to wait another 15 to 20 min) to order food. Are you kidding?! We left. You need to tell the truth up front!! We aren’t from here and don’t know your restaurant procedures. Sad start to our vacation.

You have to stand in line to order food, that took 40 minutes. Then you find a table and wait another 40 minutes for your food to be ready. When your food is ready you have to go it from the counter yourself. Had to have eggs remade , wanted over medium . They came over easy and fried hard. I did’t like the biscuits and gravy, the other food was good and the muffins were good. They made my husband a sugar free hazelnut caramel flavored latte that he loved.

The food was delicious and it's a cute restaurant, they are REALLY busy but they seem to have the ordering, paying, seating down. My only complaint was that we were seated upstairs and all of the other tables up there filled up after us and the people ate and left before we got our food. I think they forgot about us, so we had to go down and ask....but the food was really delicious.

This place is adorable! You order at the counter near the front door & the hostess seats you. You pick up your food at the kitchen window when your buzzer goes off. The coffee was delicious! My breakfast quiche was good but greasy. The croissant was very good! The views are amazing & the resident cats are adorable!

I decided to try Steamy Joe Cafe my first morning in Branson. There are numerous facets about this place to enjoy. On the outside, there are spectacular views, the gazebo and deck, the rocking chairs on the porch complete with bluegrass music and a 16 yr old cat to greet you--great places to enjoy coffee or even read a book. Once inside I found a great, highly attentive, staff and owners. I was there several days in a row. Items I ordered included the Mexican omelette, veggie omelette, veggie quiche, custom ordered breakfast burritos and great coffee. All were superb. I usually eat meals in my condo while in Branson but this place won me over! They might just do the same to you. Enjoy! Tomorrow, breakfast at Steamy Joe on my way back to Texas!

We ate here because we were staying at The Bradford. The prices were higher and the portions were smaller than when we ate here last year, however, the service was improved (even though it wasn't bad last year.) Of course, it was very busy and you have to stand in line to wait to order, but they worked very efficiently to make sure they reserved tables for everyone waiting in line so that we had a place to sit after we placed our order. They also came around to check to see if guests needed water or coffee refills.

Steamy Joe Cafe is a quaint little eatery that has a beautiful view. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and they serve plenty large portions. My husband and I had biscuits & gravy, an omelet w/hashbrowns and a pancake and coffee. My husband said the biscuits were the best he had ever had, “soft as a pillow” was his description. The omelet was jammed full of ingredients and the pancake was very tasty. The coffee was steaming hot and very good. We highly recommend this place and will be back again.

A great breakfast place! One thing to know is you order at the counter, and then get a beeper for when your meal is ready. Great sconces and muffins are also available, and the most delicious looking peach pie. Yum!

We were here two years ago and returned for lunch due to memories of fabulous homemade food, fast and friendly service. Chicken salad on croissant, vegetable soup, fresh strawberry pie, and once again, homemade muffins to go . We were not disappointed!

This place is great! It was very busy when we got there, but the host was super friendly and happy to take our names down. They are cafe style, so they gave us our menus to browse while waiting for a table to open for our party of 4. Once we had the table, one of our party went up to order while the rest stayed at the table with the water the waitresses provided and beautiful view. The food was delicious and came quickly even with how busy they were. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they could coordinate the crowds! I snagged a dirty chai latte and it was equally delicious! The owner also stopped by our table and gave us tips for getting the best out of silver dollar city, which was a lovely extra perk we were not expecting! I highly recommend this place!
