Was so looking forward to eating here … looked at the menu ahead of time and had roasted chicken dinner all picked. Well, the menu online is several years old … it is different now. Got the chicken fried chicken instead … lots of breading,...pretty thin chicken which was also on the dry side. We went at 3:00 and expected better food and service. Will definitely not return!More
This place is clean, the food is excellent, and the employees are some of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. We go there a couple times a month. It's off the beated path. There is an excellent ice cream shop next door....Its a favorite of ours!More
Excellent food & fast service makes this one of the best restaurants we visited on this trip. Our waitress kept our drinks full and was very friendly. The costs are very reasonable for this or any area.
Service was great, food was filling. Very clean. Would recommend! Kids loved it. Definitely planning on returning on our next trip.
We thank you for taking the time to submit a review for us. We are happy you enjoyed your visit.
Went for lunch and had bacon wrapped meatloaf. Absolutely great with 2 onion rings on top. My wife had Shepard's pie and it also was great. Service was great and restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend!
We made reservations while in Branson during covid. The inside was clean rustic with plenty of big windows for a lot of light. Decor/ambience was very much true to the pics. Our waitress was so very nice. We knew they were short staffed and we...had no plans so we told the waitress that we were in no hurry and to take her time. I ordered the meatloaf and it was so so good. The menu gave a very accurate description; which I appreciate. We ordered dessert to go. There is a theatre at this location. We will eat here next trip back when we would like to take in the show.More
Thank you for the wonderful review. We look forward to your return.
Had supper here after doing the North Pole Adventure. Not busy and were seated right away. The hostess was so incredibly kind. The rustic decor inside was very nice and the fireplace added the perfect touch. Multiple people even went and sat by it. Our...server was not good. A younger girl, no excitement, never checked on us, forgot multiple things. However, the chef actually came out and talked with all the tables while we were there making sure all was well. First time I have seen that in a very long time!! We had the bacon wrapped meatloaf, chicken fried chicken, cheese quesadilla, and kids burgers. All the food was tasty and hot when delivered. Side salad, broccoli cheese soup, and mac and cheese were good as well. Very large dining room so could easily accommodate larger groups. Prices are on point with the area. Parking very limited up close.More
We are happy you joined us. Thank you for your remarks. We hope to see you again on your next trip to Branson.
Two families (11 kids and 3 adults ) on Christmas eve and needed dessert for Christmas. I wanted so home cooked food. Shepherds Mill Restaurant didn't let me down. We got pumpkin pie, pecan pie, carrot cake and double chocolate cake. Everyone enjoyed. The chef,and...staff was Awesome. We'll be BACK.More
The food is good. The biscuit is very large. However, they are short staffed so service is a little slow.
We arrived with 1 other party. The restaurant only had 3 other tables. The hostess was extremely rude to all the customers waiting, staff and the customer that called on the phone. I have never had someone so rude. After we placed our orders and...got our food, then we were told they were out of some of the food. Why was this not told to us before and given the option to order something different? No one came to check on us or refill our drinks until it was time to pay. When we went back up front to pay the hostess she was again extremely rude and told my husband he would have to wait she was trying to seat people. While she asked this gentleman 4 times how many people were in his party. I have never had such horrible service like this. We will never be back.More
We are her for Th as Thanksgiving. Staff was amazing and went over and above to make sure everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Food was good. Great selection.
The restaurant is beautiful. It’s also a good value. The food is fairly priced and was rather good. I got the meatloaf meal with a salad. The salad was large. My only complaint was that the waitress was not super friendly but I realize there’s...a shortage of workers. She wasn’t rude. She just didn’t seem to be really into her job. Maybe it was an off day.More
We arrived at 10:40. There were only a few other parties but it still took a while for our party of four to be seated. The pancakes were undercooked, and we had to use sugar-free syrup after being told “we ran out of regular syrup.”...The hash browns were inedible because they were mushy and cold inside, only seared on the outside. The hash was similar. And then I found a long hair in my mouthful of eggs. We only asked for that meal to be comped. We shared our experience with management before we left, and I highly doubt we’ll ever try it again.More
This is our second trip to Branson and this time we ventured out a little further than our last visit. We would highly recommend Shepherds Mill Restaurant. The day we came they were closing at 2:00 pm. We got there at 1:30 pm. They took...us in and served us an outstandingly delicious meal. My husband had the Chefs Salad and I had the Shepherds Pie. His salad was huge. I also had a cup of their Broccoli Cheddar Soup, it was the best I’ve ever had. Cheesy, thick, and lots of broccoli. My shepherds pie was incredible. The service was great and even though we were coming in right before they were closing they made us feel welcome and did not rush us. We will definitely come back here on our next trip to Branson.More
