Billy Bob’s Burger Joint Do you prefer a small Mom and Pop owned burger joint that is fairly priced, as opposed to a corporate chain? If the answer is yes, then Billy Bob’s Dairyland is the perfect place for you. Located on the Branson Strip at 1829 W 76 Country Blvd, this makes for a perfect location to go and get some grub if you’re out doing stuff on the strip with your family. Pricing is very reasonable, where a family of four is able to go eat some tasty, greasy burgers, and not have to break a hundred dollar bill. For a cheeseburger and a hefty side of fries, it will run you around $6.69 plus tax. Chicken tenders and fries for the little ones will only cost around $7.09 plus tax. Billy Bob’s is a great family-friendly Mom and Pop burger joint, where people from the ages of two years old to 100 years old are able to go and get some home-cooked food. The service of Billy Bob’s is fantastic. They make sure the kids are having a great time, at the same time as making sure the family’s needs are fulfilled. “We had the cheeseburger and fries. Both were excellent and freshly made. The portions were great and reasonably priced. Service was friendly.” I rate Billy Bob’s a 4 out of 5 stars. Billy Bob’s is a great family Mom and Pop diner, but for some people, this isn’t enough. Some people are going to prefer that fine dining experience, with a large selection of food to choose from.

Just great diner food.

The atmosphere is the first thing you notice. Then you see Billy Bob. When the waitresses bring out peoples orders you can't wait to get your own Billy Bob cheese burger. Fabulous. Try the double cheese burger if you dare. We visit almost every time we visit Branson. Ate lunch there last Thursday (3/5/20).

Our First Time at New Location was Great!

We heard that Billy Bobs food and prices are just as good as at their old location so we tried it on our recent Branson trip. We were not disappointed. It was better than I remembered! Fresh and delicious food prepared near perfection in an atmosphere that is so much nicer than the old place. All 4 of us agreed it was an awesome choice not just because of the good food but also the portion size for the price. The decor being 50s diner style was a plus. The only drawback was the size of the place is still relatively small for how many people they pack in there. Masks were worn by the staff but seated guests were quite close together and when entering you walk through the center of this room.

Single Patty, Hold the Attitude

We visited Billy Bob’s Dairyland on our recent holiday trip to Branson. While the burgers lived up to their reputation, we were slightly disappointed in the service. Overall the staff is friendly and accommodating given the high demand for tables in this popular establishment. The hiccup in service occurred after our food was brought to the table. We all had ordered the cheeseburgers with my oldest son choosing double meat, and the remainder of the party selecting a single patty. When the food arrived, not only had my son received double patties, but my mom did as well despite having only placed a single patty order. She spoke to the waitress about the error, and instead of acknowledging the mistake she proceeded to argue with her about what she had ordered. We all heard my mom order a single patty, but the waitress insisted she had ordered two. Not a huge issue except she refused to listen to my mom and continued to argue the point. She said she would take it to the kitchen, and have it changed, but instead the plate was promptly returned by another employee who said that no food could be returned to the kitchen. Instead she brought my mom a takeout container and told her to remove the patty herself and put it in the to go box. I understand this whole situation may seem trivial and my argument lies not with the mistake, but with the staff refusing to listen to my mom and arguing with her about the order. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional in my book. As long as you stick to their version of your order, you’ll have a good time. If something arrives at your table different from what you specified, you might have to prepare to be chastised in public.

Very disappointed. First thing they do not take credit or debit cards. But they do have an ATM machine. So by the time you consider the ATM charges you have already spent 5-6 dollars (depending on your bank charges). Then the food was awful. The fries were lumpy soggy and the melt had only a drizzle of dressing on it. And I took the melt apart to finally find a stream line that had soaked into bread.

Not the Same Place

Arrived on Sunday around 1:15 pm and inside was pretty full. We did find a table for two which worked out fine. Only two wait staff working the whole restaurant. After several minutes a server finally came and asked to take our drink order and place our order. Again, after several minutes our drink order finally arrived. Took about 30 minutes to get order. Ordered side of chili = caution it’s a plastic cup of the same chili sauce that my wife got on her chili cheese dog. Prices have gone through the roof and the service has slipped. Almost $21 for a hamburger and chili cheese dog. Have eaten here several times in the past several years and just not the same.

Just okay. After all the great reviews I guess I expected more. Everything was just okay. Food okay, service BARELY okay, disappointed that they have no kids meals. Cost for basic (they won’t add ketchup or mustard because it’s on table) cheeseburger, fries, and drink is around $12. Thats the very minimum. That’s pretty steep for kids in my opinion.

This is one of are favorite places to eat. We have been eating at Billy Bob Dairyland since we have been coming to Branson they have moved 3 times but the flavor and the great family service is still the same just more space to enjoy there food. If you go away hungry its your fault. Great great place

Great burgers and FAST!

We were on a really tight timeline, coming from out of town and headed to an event. The first couple of minutes I was worried that nobody would wait on us. But really after a couple of minutes someone did come and take our orders. And service was FAST! We had our food within about 10 minutes of sitting down! And they actually have HAMBURGERS! They don’t try to force you to get cheese on your burger, which makes me very happy! The burgers were huge, 1/2 pounds each and I couldn’t possibly eat a whole one. Fries were good too. The diner is cute with the black and white checkered floor, red or green tables. Very 50-ish. The only negative remark is that we normally wouldn’t have been able to eat there because we don’t always carry enough cash and I almost never have a checkbook. They don’t accept debit or credit cards. So….plan ahead accordingly 🤷‍♀️

We've been to Billy Bob's before, and the food is always delicious! This time though, our service was MORE than exceptional. When asked about ingredients in the shakes because of an allergy one of my kid's has, our server actually showed me ingredient lists of each thing in the shake recipe. I've never had anyone in any restaurant be so thorough, and she mentioned that she knew how important it is to be sure and that the customer knows better than anyone! I was very impressed! As far as I'm concerned, Billy Bob's is a must-visit when you come to Branson. Get the onion rings!

We officially have a must stop restaurant for our branson trips. Delicious shakes and amazing food. I had a perfect 👌 burger and stole off my kids' plates, the chicken strips, fries and onion rings were awesome as well!!! Staff was super attentive!!

Our family with young children really enjoyed dinner at Billy Bob's. There was an excellent option for each of our kids and my husband and I shared a double cheeseburger. The burger was soooo good! Really nice quality burgers. The staff was super friendly, restaurant was clean. Great place for families to eat.

Good Diner Food, Small Seating Area

This place has good diner food, but finding the host/hostess to be seated is confusing. You must walk in quite a-ways into the restaurant before finding the host/hostess stand and it's the same place where you pay when finished eating. Though this place is small we were seated pretty quickly, the food and customer service was good, and the noise wasn't particularly bad. I would definitely consider returning in the future.

5 of us were eating. Hamburgers and chicken strips were good. I had them take the outdated bag of chips back. When I went to pay it didn’t add up to what I expected. I said something and she said one of my sons added up to 10.00 and was the most expensive. Even if all of ours added up to 10.00 a piece that would have been 50.00 (I added up 54.00 plus tax). She charged 78 and some change. Lady had trouble adding it up then thought she zeroed out the register. She didn’t and overcharged us. When we left I started adding it all up (I took pics of the menu). She was way off. And I tipped. I’m just frustrated. And they make you pay with cash and we were not given a receipt. So I felt like I couldn’t go back the next day and complain. I won’t bring my family back because of this.

Overpriced especially for kids

I have fond memories eating here years ago when it was in the old gas station, so we were excited to try the new venue and grab a burger for lunch while in Branson today. Myself and my three children came and after a short wait were sat in the crowded new venue. I thought, “crowded, must mean it’s still good!” I was wrong! First they are out of milk, which is listed on the menu, so that’s strike one. There’s no kids menu or smaller burger option for children. So we literally left half of each kids meal on the table. Sharing is not an option for us because they each like them different. Not many 5 year olds can take down a 1/2 pound burger? Plus you charge $10 and no other option for a kid? That really put me off.. strike 2! Finally my middle son wanted an ice cream cone, and we bargained for him to eat well and he would receive. Go to order, and guess what? Out of chocolate ice cream? Nothing mentioned on the menu. No explanation, just we don’t have it! Strike 3. $50 for an adult and 3 kids quick meal, and left most on the table… never again for this family!
