They have a wonderful blue plate lunch menu. Amazing customer service and clean restaurant. Plan on waiting awhile, especially for breakfast during an MSU football weekend. People come from far and wide to have some of this down home cooking.

This cafe was efficient for lunch. The atmosphere and decor were okay. The service was slow and unfriendly. The food was good. I was excited to try the peach cobbler and when our waitress set our bill down and didn't ask if we wanted dessert or refills... I was done! I'm not sure if I will ever return.

We were running late for breakfast, but chose the Starkville Cafe because it had been so highly recommended to us. We especially wanted to try their duck butter. We placed our orders and guess what? They were out of duck butter! We were highly disappointed because that was one of the main reasons we chose that restaurant. Even though we... More

Starkville Cafe's food is pretty normal diner fare, but combined with its unique, straight-out-of-the-50s atmosphere, it's honestly worth 5 stars, at least to me. And the thing about the food is...it's always done perfectly, even if it is something you've had many times before. I just never walk out with a complaint. Highly recommend.

Sometimes they are a little slow with the food, but the service is top notch and the food is fantastic. I recommend the chocolate chip pancakes, but I've never had a single bad dish, so you're safe with pretty much anything.

Classic breakfast stop in Starkville. You can tell by the generations of dining clientele that this place is authentically good. If you have time on the weekends this is the place to go for a sit down family breakfast.

Website needs to update actual business hours..we got there when thought was opening and had been open for some time. Pricey for what you got And most of the food was unimpressive. The pancake was really good and the duck butter was not worth $2 extra so don't waste your money. Over all gets an ok!!

This is a place where everyone knows everyone else and discusses them as well. The atmoshere is embracing and the vintage signage adds tons of charm. However $7. For a regular coffee, two eggs and two slices of bacon was a bit much. Esp when the bacon came out like warmish bacon jerky. They have a coffee bar and I... More

We pulled off the interstate 15 miles to eat in town, this place tho in beautiful downtown was disappointing. We ordered a patty melt that came chopped for some reason and a club sandwich which was so small it fit on two toothpicks I actually thought I only got half a sandwich, no side of fries or anything with those... Since the 1940's Starkville Cafe has been a classic and nothing has changed since then. It's clear this is an iconic spot in historic downtown Starkville. The food was also great!
