I love the food at Cock of the Walk! My favorite are the greens and a cornbread and coleslaw . The atmosphere at the reservoir location is special because of the waterfront views, but the Hwy 49 location offered shrimp which are delicious!

We stopped here for lunch. The catfish with ok. The hush puppies and the corn bread were very good. Also enjoyed the deep fried pickles.

The menu is limited to catfish and chicken but if you're looking for outstanding catfish, this is it. We make this a "must" whenever we come to the area. You will not walk away hungry. And for those with a smaller appetite get the half portion.

This restaurant is located right on Ross Barnett Reservoir and has excellent views. It has a nautical theme. The menu is very limited -- catfish plate or chicken plate in a choice of 2 sizes. The plates come with greens, coleslaw, corn bread, hush puppies and French fries. The catfish is very good, the sides less so. This restaurant is... More

Love the food, a little loud, but good dining. Had a great anniversary dinner there. Fish is great, turnips and cornbread, wonderful and love the coleslaw. Something for everyone, some like the chicken better. The servers are always very friendly.

This restaurant is shore side of the Rez. Watching the sunset and the water so soothing and relaxing. Food and service is good. Great place all round.

Been here (and the one in Nashville) several times. Always got good catfish and chicken, always received good service. We been at the one in Ridgeland 4 times in 2016 so far. We enjoy the food and sitting on the lake watching the sail boats run across the water.

Rustic charm. Corn bread flying in the air. Catfish, slaw and pickled onions describe this local favorite. Great for the family and large groups. You can even call in your order for pickup. The view of the water is a must see.
