I've visited for a number of occasions and found the food to be tasteful on all occasions. The service is a little slow during lunch though.

Eat in an old firehouse/bank/restaurant. Food is southern cooked with different specials each day. Very cute with collections of cameras and other interesting things. Located in downtown Pascagoula.

Scranton's not only has great food but has a great atmosphere. The restaurant use to be Pascagoula's Firestation so it's interesting with the different rooms. Like one room use to be the Mayor's office. Pricing is average and they also do catering.

This historic spot is such a nice place to break for lunch with friends or for business. They have a full menu of soups, salads, and specialties, including great choices from the "Mississippi Seafood Trail" menu. Featuring local gulf seafood, it's always fresh and delicious, and quick if you need to get back to work. Monday's they feature a traditional... More

Was in town for business and drove around until I found Scranton's. Very nice people, great selection of local beers, lots of history to the building, and I even say at the bar and had a conversation with one of the owners. Highly recommended.

This is place to be for lunch, for sure, and dinner, too! They change up their menu fairly often to keep boredom of the menu. Wait times are satisfactory and most often food is cooke to specifications.

This isn't fast food so call in or make yourself at home at the bar while waiting for your food. Nice, engaging employees. Our order was packed securely and everything was still hot when I got home (10 miles). The seafood stuffed mushrooms and hot wings were great. The shrimp and grits are evil good. We couldn't stop eat eating!

I've been here more times than I can count. I've had some really great food and some mediocre meals here. Even though the prices are above average for the area the best meals are a bargain. While I've never had a terrible meal here, I've had my share of below average ones. Should you go for a meal at Scranton's,... More

Description
For three decades, Scranton's has been serving exceptional cuisine in a unique, casual dining atmosphere. The restaurant makes its home in downtown Pascagoula, Mississippi, in a historic, early 1920's building that once housed the town's firehouse and city hall.Today, remnants of the town's history remain a distinctive part of the dining experience. Guests are welcomed to browse the premises and peek inside the old town vault; dine in the spot where the mayor once conducted business; touch the bars of the town's original jail cell, and glimpse the bright red door that once opened to the old firehouse. But the main attraction at Scranton's is the food - mouthwatering dishes brilliantly prepared with a local flair. Like Scranton's signature Shrimp & Grits; our special recipe of shrimp, mushrooms, peppers and onions poured over baked & seasoned grit cakes. You'll also want to try our Smoked Pulled Pork, slow-cooked and smoked to perfection on premise - or our hearty Crab Cakes, perfectly seasoned and loaded with succulent lump crabmeat. Then there's our unforgettable Seafood Gumbo, She-Crab Soup, savory burgers, crispy fried seafood, Po-boys, salads, fresh fish, juicy steaks, and specials that change daily. The list goes on, but it's always easy to see how Scranton's continues to earn its loyal following and win new fans each day. Come join us for lunch or dinner today, soak in a bit of local history, and experience the great food, fun and friendship that have made Scranton's famous.
