They sort of bill the place as a source for hangover food when you've been partying. At my age, that's no longer an issue. Their breakfast offerings are excellent, the people are friendly and the service is first-rate. Prices are reasonable.

Food was ok. I had more of a brunch breakfast and my wife had a hamburger. The burger was a little over cooked. Service needs work.

Was a really busy weekend in Oxford so went in to grab a quick bite before baseball game. It’s now called Billups breakfast and steak house. We had chargrilled oysters. They were terrible and definitely not chargrilled! I got the West Indies salad. They should...be ashamed!! It was also terrible! Think maybe they should stick with breakfast and maybe lunch! Definitely not going to get any points for dinner with that kind of food on the square! It’s a great location so need to step it up on the dinner menu and quality of food!More

We went to Billups but it was on the Square in Oxford. Lovely lady bartender. Nice beer selection. Happy hour pricing and half price oysters - done 3 ways.

Billups Breakfast has serveral locations throughout the state, and the one in Oxford may not be like the others, but this place waas a one-off.

Our experience at Billups was a bit uneven. Some menu items were pricey given the size of the serving, but others were reasonably priced using the same standard. The quality was uneven as well. Most of the menu items were, by consensus, very good, but...a few were standard fare. If I rated Billups on my menu selection - grits & grillades - I'd give Billups 1 star. This menu item should be renamed grits & gravy - there wasn't a single "medallion" of beef to be found - just a whole lot of gravy with a single BITE of beef!More

Billups is a great breakfast spot just off the Square in Oxford. The waffles were awesome and the sausage and biscuits exceptional. The restaurant is on the small side so expect a wait on the weekends. Its not a cheap breakfast place but it's worth...it.More

If you were to judge by the wait line you would think this place would be "to die for". It is a good solid breakfast, but nothing special. You need to be prepared to wait (long on weekends) for a table and then wait LONGER...for service. Coffee fill ups are hard to come by. It is a rage in Oxford, but not sure why.More

Ok place for breakfast on the square, but not worth the cost. If you're going to pay 11 for breakfast it ought to be special. Cute decor, fun old photos, service a little slow and the food was ok.

Very disappointed that biscuit baker could not show up on a Sunday after a home football game to make the biscuits on the menu. Several of the breakfast specials feature biscuits! We arrived 20 minutes after they opened and were told there were no biscuits...when we went to place our order. Our waiter told us it would be a 20 minute wait. We said we would wait. He came back after what seemed like 5 minutes to tell us the biscuits were not even in the oven. After that, I was very disappointed. I will probably never go back.More
