So excited to try a new place but was disappointed. The waitress was well no silverware had to ask for it ordered several apps no plates had to ask for them. Order mixed up . The corn dip just ok the chili relleno bites were good the croquettes were just nasty chips and salsa okay.

Admittedly we were in Ocean Springs on a St Patty’s pup crawl night, however we stopped in and were told it was a 30 min wait. Seemed reasonable, so we put a name and number in and walked around. We have a 10 and 7 year old who were hungry but 30 mins seemed ok. We waited for over 1 hour for a table. Closer to 1.5 hours. All in all, the food was good (steak and chicken tacos better than carnitas which were recommended) the margaritas were only so so. Overall a disappointing experience. Just too long of a wait for the place overall, but wish they were more honest or knowledgeable about wait times. I also wish I read reviews on Trip amAdvisor first, as they seem fair.

It’s eh. First of all its VERY loud, which really isn’t good while we are trying to social distance. Speaking of which they aren’t practicing, not one inch of the bar was empty. The chips were overcooked, margarita was bland. Our waitress was nice and for the most part attentive. It was hard for her to reach us through the sea of people they let in. Our order was lost in the kitchen so we had to wait longer. They did take 25% off of the bill. Probably won’t be back.

Our waitress was excellent. Drinks were always full and she was so friendly with our children. She had great recommendations of which tacos to try. Food was average to good. Prices were very reasonable, Tuesdays are half price on all tacos which made it well worth it.

Drinks were so-so and more expensive than we have encountered elsewhere on Govt St. Food (chips salsa nachos) also so-so. No ambience. No atmosphere. Think plasticware and styrofoam everything. Server (bar tender) was making a great effort to be personable but ultimately failed. I had the notion to offer money to the sole "guitar player/singer" to quit playing but then realized it was cheaper to just leave, so we left.

Not your typical "Speedy Gonzalas number one with beans" type of Mex restaurant. You know, where everything looks and tastes the same, but is just in different shapes. A more eclectic menu with typical ingratiates, but prepared with a bit more flair and originality. So far, the roof top of the roof top restaurant is not open. Can't wait for that to happen....

Would absolutely like to give a good review, but our experience was, in our own words, "below us on an extremely adult derivative night out."
This being the case, we had our 9 year old looking for a good vibe and tacos at 430pm., thinking the establishment was ok.
Well.... we went rooftop, the music was blaring music that after we sat and ordered a drink and appetizer, the music turned to, d%ck, pu$$y, drugs, etc., forcing us to explain the explicity of the environment which was not appropriate for a child.(we asked the hostess downstairs if it was ok first.)
We were the only ones there except witnessing a patron getting escorted out about 10 minutes into our visit. We did not stay to even attempt a meal. I sent my family away as I approached the (empty; not a single employee on that level)
bar to pay our one drink round tab. Waitstaff is nice, but not a family friendly place, even at 430 in the afternoon.
Overall, I'm an honest person, but I could/would have easily walked out.
We will not return or recommend ever!

Ordered outside. Told wait of 25 minutes. After 25 minutes ordered drinks. After 15 minutes reordered drinks as never received anything. After 10 more minutes went into resturant to get drinks. Meal order or drink order never turned in. Had to give Visa to place orders. Card was charged but never received anything. Retrieved card and left. Problem is personal not food or atmosphere. Too many fine well run resturants in Ocean Springs to bother with this one.

Great food and service. Margaritas were overloaded with ice though so ask for no / little ice hence 4 star!Tacos and nachos were very good. Marissa got all of the 9 checks correct. First time in 4 days for our group of 9!! Rooftop bar opens in April!!

Not worth the 2 flights of stairs.
The upstairs staff were more into each other than they were the customers like only 4 customers yet it took 20 minutes to get a beer,while 3 servers were shooting the bull.

My husband and I went to Rooftop Taco Bar on a date day. The atmosphere of the restaurant was extremely cozy and welcoming. However, the amount of wait time it took just to get our food was horrible. We only ordered two taco salads. Simple salads, right? For the amount of time it took the salads were cold and the shell wouldn’t break. Other families came and went, they enjoyed a table full of food (fajitas, tacos) and were still waiting for two simple salads.
I also believe that food was overpriced. Two steak taco salads were $30.
I’m not a person for leaving a bad review, but this place just wasn’t as it seemed from the Facebook post.

Super fun little restaurant and bar! We were walking around the Ocean Springs downtown shops and we went in for some refreshments. I had the blackberry margarita and it was awesome😎
